Ballard P-Patch Community Gardens — Local services in Seattle

Lovely little P-Patch tucked into a lot @ 85th NW & 24th NW. Its fun to walk through and admire the flowers & edibles. A lot of the produce grown is donated to local food banks. I enjoy talking to the gardeners about their plants & they freely give me great gardening advice. Thus is a good place to just immerse yourself in nature. I was surprised to see so many blooming flowers still, in October. There is some humongous rubarb, lots of arugula,and several bean vines still with beans on them.
