Caffe Fiore — Restaurant in Seattle

What a great location and terrible customer service. I won’t be returning. After enjoying the walk down the charming stairways and a lovely beach walk, we ended our morning at Caffe Foote, and had planned on getting coffee and a baked good. When we arrived, my husband got in line and I went to the bathroom. It was locked, with the key hanging beside it. One of the baristas was washing dishes and I asked if I could take the key. She insisted that I order first. My husband was in line, I told her. She said I couldn’t use the restroom until our order was in. Calling out the fact that I ordered a breve cappuccino and it cost me nearly 8 dollars with tip, the most expensive breve in the city so far… they add a dollar on for the use of half-and-half instead of milk. The irony is when the person behind me orders a triple shot large 16 oz Americano and they’re allowed to use as much half-and-half as they want. This is ridiculous and a lame fad that has caught on at some coffee shops. It’s one thing to charge a little more for half-and-half, say $.25 or $.50 depending on the size of drink, but a dollar or more is ridiculous and rude, especially when others get too poor half-and-half in their coffees to...

Yet another place no longer taking cash in Seattle. Ive been here 2 other times before and the staff are snobby and less than welcoming. Foods average. I think its incredible that cash is no longer a form of payment and instead they've moved to cashless where the tips for these people just to serve you a cup of coffee matches fine dining. Im over it and I would not recommend this snobby, cashless place to be a patron. Lastly she (and in a pretty snotty way) said we keep getting robbed.
