I have been living in the area for about 8 months and was looking for a new nail salon to go to. I am not very happy with my first time coming in. When I came in I was bubbly and excited to be spoiling myself with some nice nail TLC, I got Acrylics and the requested for them to be short. I explained I wanted the tips of the nail to be about even with the tip of my fingers. When she was cutting the tips down to size they were uneven, angled, and she didn't even check to make sure the lengths of each finger were the same. When I asked if she could cut them shorter she told me not to worry and proceeded to put the acrylic coating on top. When that was done she began to sand off the dried power and multiple times sanded down the skin on my finger tips instead (Ouch!). Once sanding under my nail was completed I asked her to fixed half of the nails because they were crooked and too long for my preference which took about 30 more minutes because she had to sand down the nail and the hardened powder, if she had cut them down when I had asked earlier this appointment would not have taken an hour and a half. When she "fixed" the lengths and angles they were still off I kind of gave up trying to tell them how i wanted them because i was obviously not being listened to or understood. They just yes'd me and continued doing what they were going to do. Before I went to wash my hands my technician asked me if I wanted a gel top coat or normal and I asked for the normal top coat because i did not want to get the up charge of gel. When I came back to my seat after washing my hands another technician tried to tell me my nails would be prettier with the gel and had my technician have the gel top coat ready for my nails to be done. I once again declined the gel because I did not want the up charge of $3 (They weren't going to tell me about the charge unless I asked if there was one). My technician then proceeded to try and paint my nails with the gel top coat. I had to stop her and said firmly and slightly irritated that I DID NOT want the gel and I wanted the normal top coat. While my technician painted the normal topcoat on my nails the technicians next to me began to whisper and covered there mouths when speaking and every so often looked over at me while they were talking. I have no idea what they were actually talking about but i began to feel uncomfortable and wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. I waited about 2 minutes for my nails to dry left $31 dollars ($1 tips because I hate stiffing people) and got out. I am going to my old salon about 45min north of here to get them fixed tomorrow. That's how unhappy I am with...
Read moreI had such a great experience at Creative Nails Salon in Northgate and I just have to share! I came in for an acrylic full set and was blown away by how natural and flawless my nails turned out. They look elegant, clean, and not overly thick like at some other salons. I’ve gotten so many compliments already, and I’m so happy with the result.
Another thing I really appreciate is the pricing. Compared to most salons in the Seattle area, Creative Nails is so much more affordable, yet the quality of the work is top-notch. You really get the best of both worlds here – amazing nails without paying those sky-high Seattle prices.
The staff are truly the highlight of the salon. Everyone is so kind, welcoming, and professional. They take their time to listen to what you want, make sure you’re comfortable, and deliver exactly the look you’re going for. You can tell they really care about their customers and take pride in their work.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my experience. If you’re looking for a place that gives you natural-looking acrylics, great prices, and the friendliest staff, this is the salon to go to. Creative Nails has definitely become my new go-to spot, and I highly recommend it to anyone...
Read moreI went in to get a new set since my old one was gross. She was not upfront about the cost of removal. Her initial customer service was a little bit off putting but once she started doing my nails she was super nice. Once she started filing the new set she was using a new emery board that was extremely course and cut my finger. Later on she was applying too much pressure and cut it in the same spot even deeper. It was deep enough I was bleeding and jerked back; she deflected responsibility IMMEDIATELY saying I was only cut because I jerked away?! that doesn't make sense. I requested that my toes get pained, not a full pedicure just paint to match my fingers. At the END of the painting she said the cost was $25 which I know in the beginning she said $15. She then started YELLING at me that she never told me the cost of painting the toes. All together I ended up paying $108. I ended up filing my own nails to a better shape because, as she said, she can't see the shape from her side? Because I felt tricked into paying much more than I should have and her yelling at me, AND her cutting me pretty badly and not compensating for it. I do not recommend nor...
