The library staff of this SPL location, combined with the lovely open ceiling, ample seating (most days), view of the community park and nearby trees, clean bathrooms, easy holds shelves, proximity to Transit (2 bus stops away from the light rail station) and climate control (heating & AC!) easily make this location my favorite branch of all branches of the Seattle Public Library. The staff member with the blue hair especially makes efforts to treat every single member of the community with the same kind respect and keen helpfulness, and seems incredibly competent. Truly though, everyone here continues to be high quality, good people with care for their work and high cultural competence. I am so glad to experience this little haven. Protect our libraries! Read moreAlthough the selection of books is somewhat limited, the Northgate Branch Library has an ample number of computers and comfy rocking chairs. There are also 2 study rooms, printers and copiers (both black & white and color), and a separate room with movie screenings. There are two outdoor book-drops, one located beside each of the two entrances. King County Metro Rt. 41 stops directly in front of the branch (along with a few other routes).
