We got engaged in March and started looking for engagement and wedding ring options (my fiancée wanted me to have input in my engagement ring). After seeing all the great reviews and talking to friends who recommended them, we went with Green Lake and it was absolutely the right decision. Traditional style rings didn’t appeal to us, so we decided to have our rings custom made and made an in-person appointment with a designer that fit in our schedule. We talked about our likes/ dislikes and general aesthetic. We also sent over some style reference photos and tagged rings and gems we liked from their online gallery. From there, our designer Rebecca was able to come up with a beautiful design that we immediately fell in love with. The whole process felt collaborative and supportive. The online portal they use for messaging and sharing images was super easy to use too. Rebecca captured our personal style perfectly and she gave us options that allowed us to stay in our budget. In fact, when I showed my best friend the initial design, they immediately said, “Oh that is SO you!” Neither of us had experience buying fancy jewelry, let alone custom designing anything, so the process felt a bit intimidating at first, but everyone at Green Lake is so kind and relaxed and really put us at ease. I never felt pressured or dismissed or anything like that. In fact, I got the impression that Rebecca was genuinely enjoying her work and collaborating with us, and that she was as pleased with the results as we were! Overall, I can’t recommend Rebecca and Green Lake highly enough. It’s pricey, but so worth it for the incredible level of artistic skill, beauty and customization you’ll receive.

I came to Green Lake Jewelry feeling pretty frustrated and hopeless. I had been married for two years already with an engagement ring I ADORED but a wedding band that had never felt quite right. After the wedding band lost a diamond and I started getting a run around from the company that the "lifetime" warranty might not cover that, it was the last straw.

I embarked on a quest to find the proper wedding band of my dreams that I loved as much as my engagement ring! I tried SO MANY jewelry stores and came empty time after time. Every time I walked in and said "nature inspired" the poor sales associates would sort of scratch their heads and offer me the best they had. So I was feeling pretty discouraged when I came into Green Lake Jewelry and gave the same spiel to Rebecca. And she blew me away right away!! Immediately after seeing my engagement ring she began drawing sketches for me and showing me possible wedding ring shapes that would fulfill my desires: could be worn separately but also add some va va voom with my engagement ring.

After sending her some inspiration pictures from the closest wedding ring option I found previously she generated a model that I instantly fell in love with. It's like she looked into my brain and knew exactly what I wanted!! Then came the wax viewing and finally the real deal and oh my god I can't sing enough praises. I LOVE my set now, and it brings me so much joy to see them together. Plus I can wear just my wedding band and it actually looks naturey without the engagement ring!!

It was hard to live without my engagement ring for 5-6 weeks but it was so worth it!! And while the price was at the edge of our budget, the final result was worth every penny! You can tell an incredibly talented team of artists and jewelers worked to make my dream a reality, and can you really put a price tag on that? My (soon to be ;) fiance and I had the most amazing experience designing my engagement ring with Sophia. I'm so happy that we decided to go with this place.

I was a little nervous about being able to get the ring I wanted here, because the ones that they showcase on their website and IG, while beautiful, weren't exactly what I had in mind for my ring. I wanted something very traditional and clean which showcases the center stone.

They do custom work here so, when I told Sophia what I wanted, she was able to pull some samples that were the style I was looking for. She understood right away what I wanted, and I fell in love with one of the samples she showed us. We made some tweaks to the metal and accent stones, and were able to select the center stone that we wanted as well.

I love that they do everything in house from design to creation; it makes me feel really safe knowing that my ring isn't getting shipped from somewhere else. Most importantly, we felt extremely comfortable working with Sophia and there was zero pressure at all.

She mocked up our design, gave us details and let us know how to get in touch if we wanted to move forward. Although we had a couple of other places in mind to check out I knew immediately after leaving Green Lake Jewelry that this was the place I wanted to go with. My boyfriend paid the deposit the same day and the timelines that Sophia gave were spot on. Within 3 weeks we had a wax model to try on, and my final ring was ready 6 weeks after signing off on the wax model.

Now all that is left to do is wait for the big day so I finally get to wear my beautiful ring. I can't wait and we will definitely be getting our wedding bands from here. Thank you so much Sophia and the wonderful Green Lake...
