First, the good. My wife’s shrimp tempura was actually quite nice. Now, the rest. This place was good a little while ago. Everything is different now. See picture for the special ingredients added. There were clumps of human hair in the rice, indicating it hit the ground or something and was served. Wow, just glad I guess I found that after solving my hunger issue. The food….what happened?!? Expensive , dry and bland. The sauce is not teriyaki sauce really at all. It’s like corn syrup mixed with a little soy sauce, and very tasteless. Almost no effort was made there. But don’t worry, you can buy “extra” little cups for 0.25 to sauce the teriyaki that had almost exactly no sauce to begin with. The spicy sauce isn’t spicy or really even a sauce. Again, just like corn syrup mixed with a little Mae Ploy. The rice is some of the worst I’ve had in teriyaki. Dry and still a bit hard. The beef was so dry it had that “fuzz” lean cheap meet gets on the outside when it is also way over cooked (eg boiled) and tasted/felt boiled. Almost no sauce on it; it wasn’t tossed/coated, just some dribbled later. Meat is obviously unmarinated. Totally flavorless and grisly. Pork was all fat and not in the good way. Chicken was just kind of soft, instead of the nice grilled outside like most teriyaki. Pork was tiny little squares of flavorless squishy stuff. Lettuce wasn’t tossed in dressing at all, which itself wasn’t even very good (the dressing is the same virtually everywhere and so simple…how did they make it more tasteless?) Is teriyaki just finally dead in Seattle? It’s been dying, but this feels like the nail in the casket for me. Good places are almost non-existent now.

Omg , I have never received such amazing services. I was helped by a young girl called Alice . Amazing . This girl was especially amazing . She asked how my day was, she took care of my order . I was on a conference call . She brought my food to my car . I ordered to go and she asked if she could get me any sauce . I told her Alice you are amazing . She said she is here to make people happy . Perfect communication skills .. I am coming back

I don’t usually leave reviews but this is the worst chicken fried rice I ever had I ordered chicken and shrimp fried rice to go within 3 minutes the food was ready !!! The chicken is disgusting and looks like was made yesterday or the day before the shrimp wasn’t cooked first and last time

I went to this restaurant for 2 years spending in a cumulative estimate amount of $15,000. One day I use the restroom after asking the cashier if it was okay without buying a meal and she said it was okay. Five minutes later I am in a very vulnerable situation as you would be in a restroom. All of a sudden to be shocked by banging hard on the door and being yelled at in a different language with some broken English in there somewhere screaming that I needed to get out now. I said this is extremely inappropriate I'll get out when I finish. She said no way you get out now and then kept banging profusely on the door.

So I got out, started to walk out and ask what is going on here. I asked to use the bathroom legitimately, the cashier the owner's daughter who is clearly afraid to speak up to her mother and so is her beta male husband refused to say anything at all. I have no doubt being a professional family counseling that this woman most clearly physically if not verbally abuses her daughter and husband. She did it right in front of me.

I said I have patriated this establishment for 2 years and I have spent a lot of money here. I have at least earned to use the bathroom once without buying a meal and she said no not at all.

So every time you buy a meal from this place know that she doesn't give two craps about you or the quality and cleanliness of the food at all. All she cares about is your money. Her meals are highly inconsistent, ok sometimes, mediocre most the time, and downright disgusting 1 out of 3 times I swear. Stop Patronizing this establishment they do not care about you the customer. the only reason they do so well is because of their vicinity to the Northgate Mall. Please stop going here because one day you will be treated the exact same way and just know a place that cares so little about their clientele I guarantee you cares very little about the kind of food they cook for you the cleanliness of the food is in dire question I have already called the health inspector on them and I expect to follow up calling the Health Inspector on them I I suggest you do too.

PS: if you ask why do I eat at a place like this and not go somewhere else then the answer is very simple.

I Love Teriyaki food Seattle traffic is horrendous and southbound traffic at the time that I drive usually starts to get busy right there so I stop and grab something to eat.

So finally save yourself, save your health from the disgusting food being cooked here and save yourself from the horrorriffic customer service if you ever have to deal with the decrepit old lady that runs the joint.

On a side note that is kind of funny, I have never seen a husband so afraid of his wife I mean that must be one hell of a family to...

I accidentally called this place thinking that it was mana on Aurora and I wish that I had called mana instead of them by accident. I ordered the lunch special teriyaki chicken salad rice with three goza I got two of them to go and I'm not a picky eater by far or a prude but I have to say that I asked for sauce on the side for both of them and the teriyaki sauce was in a watery container that goes was halfway soaked in water that was also sweet tasting like the house salad type of sauce that these places use, and when I went for the salad it was already turning dark like when it's about to spoil and it was sitting in warm water but it still tasted like the house sauce so I figured she probably heard me say sauce on the side so she took the salad that's already soaked in the house sauce and she just ran it under the hot water in the sink and then threw it in same thing for my girlfriend's plate as well and the gouzza was also soaked in that sweet hot nasty water and the parts that weren't soaked in the water were really hardened. This is one of those places that focuses emphasis on giving you way too much rice to meet ratio to make it look big and then you walking around with a big gut stuffed full of expanding rice and good luck dealing with that later. The chicken didn't taste bad my girl said it was a little dryer on her end but definitely the salad is something I look forward to as a little refresher that's why I get sauce on the side because I like to just enjoy the taste of fresh crunchy lettuce after salty meal but I didn't even touch it this is the aftermath I will admit this was a breakfast I am not full but cuz I didn't want to have a bunch of rice in my stomach but I guess I'm satisfied I'll probably be hungry in an hour or two this is the leftovers. There's other options around here I would much rather go back to mana again or the place that's across the street next to the big Asian oh and no sweet black tea at all come on guys really no thanks. Came out to 30 bucks for the two meals and then two small bottles of Arizona Green...

Had them for lunch today. I got the stir fry chicken which was supposed to be sautéed chicken in a veggie mix, but instead was cut up pre-cooked teriyaki chicken, a bunch of oily cabbage with a few pieces of broccoli. I took a couple bites and noticed the chicken was sour. Took one more bite and had to spit it out it was disgusting! My stomach instantly started feeling upset. I was just going to eat the rice instead and then started thinking hey this was nearly a $10 meal, when online it says $6.75, and I don’t want them to give other people sour chicken, so I decided to call and let them know. The lady on the phone (cashier) was nice and said I can get something else. I work across the street and still had sometime left on my break so decided to get something else vs. a refund. I get there and all I here is the older lady yelling in her language the only thing I understood was chicken and cabbage, she was very angry. I’m sitting there confused they should be apologizing, it is not my fault their chicken is sour. Then the cashier just says “next time don’t eat it, just bring it back” I told her “I literally took a few bites, and I have to taste it to know the chicken is sour” she acted like I ate the whole meal and tried to bring an empty to go box and get a free full meal. Like seriously? It was still completely full, yes you could tell I took some rice, and you could literally see the spit out food! This place is unprofessional, overly priced for the poor quality food, I have eaten here a few times just because it was convenient, but every time I was unsatisfied. I’ll just drive the extra mile for quality and good customer service. Don’t eat here!!! I do not recommend it at all! Disgusting food...
