A Pizza Mart - 35th Ave — Restaurant in Seattle

Why did I not know about this amazing pizza place 5 mins away from home?!?! Well better late than never! Tried out A Pizza Mart for the first time tonight and ordered their bbq sauce chicken wings with bleu cheese & spicy chicken tandoori pizza (large).. The wings were mind blowingly delicious and the spicy chicken tandoori pizza was deliciousness in every bite. We usually drive down south to Kent to get amazing indian pizzas but this place just made it super convenient to satisfy my indian pizza craving..

They have a huge bunch of pizza options and next time I would love to try their calzones and mediterranean pizza too. The ladies running this place are super sweet and nice. They warned me about how spicy this pizza is and recommended I take some more bleu cheese. I will frequently visit this place now that I know...

Dirty and unhygienic. Almost ate here. Thankfully dodged a bullet. Here's why.. I drove up and saw 2 guys smoking outside. As I stepped out of my car one of them snorted and spit a gross wad of spit like 3 feet from me. I looked at him and realized he was wearing an apron. I passed him to enter the pizza place, hoping that he wasn't working there. Unfortunately about 30 seconds after entering and looking around at the dingy, unclean walls, floors and counters of the place, he flicked his cigarette onto the sidewalk and sauntered into the joint. He walked past me, behind the bar and without washing his hands (instead choosing to wipe them on his apron), he asked what I wanted to order... I immediately turned and left very thankful that I hadn't blindly ordered online.. Nothing will convince me...

Let me tell you, at first sight this place doesn't really impress. I also rarely stray from more familiar pizza establishments like Domino's, but since it was just down the street, I decided to give this very generically named pizza shop a chance.

It did not disappoint. Every pizza I've ordered has been at least as good as Domino's or Pizza Hut or whatever. Their sandwiches are surprisingly good, and don't even get me started on the calzones. I highly recommend their calzones if you are in the mood and fear pizza-delivery-change.
