The best haunted house I've ever been to, and it's built on a private residence!

The haunted house makes amazing use of the space it has. It doesn't take up as much sq ft as some other haunted houses, but it has many snaking paths, corners, etc. so the distance still feels very satisfying.

The scares are also very high quality. This haunted house has great immersion, pacing of jump scares, and design of the corridors that you feel comfortably uncomfortable in anticipation of the next surprise. Other haunted houses I've been in have had problems with pacing where it's too few or too many or it being outdoors ruins some of the ambiance.

My favorite part was this room that had a squishy bridge and felt very unsettling to cross. It took me by surprise that it felt so different than anything I expected.

The haunted house also supports great causes, West Seattle Food Bank and Washington's National Park fund, so that's awesome as well.

Finally, the owners and volunteers were all super nice. Before we went in Mr. Black gave us instructions and reminded us of the safety precautions, and you can tell there was so much love and care put into this project.

Ohhhh my goodness. I am not aware of the homeowner or group associated with the Nightfall Orphanage but BRAVO. I attended with my son and partner.

The night we went, we were told donations are not required but appreciated, and the donations were for the national parks. We had a quick briefing and were told to go through. From the get-go, you can see the passion. The details and since of atmosphere os intoxicating and the experience won't be one I will forget soon.

Please keep doing this, and I hope the neighbors don't give too much grief. I will say if you plan on attending, try to carpool and park off-site. This is a neighborhood, and people do live here. That being said, no neighbor gave us any grief whole we were finding parking, and I will say the neighborhood is beautiful.

I am a combat veteran, and to see Americans coming together in a community to accommodate Nightfall Orphanage gives me pride, happiness, and a sense of honor in my country. Thank you a million times.

Wow. The love, care, intention, and community that goes into this is amazing. Everything about this experience was about community from start to finish. We LOVED the animatronics and thought they were so impressive. The pages and pages of lore are so well thought out and intentional. We screamed. We stood and admired the unique tech. We spent too long discussing how intricate the grave site pieces were. We screamed. A lot. An embarrassing amount. We went through tucked behind my tallest friend and let him panic for the rest of us. The kids had LUNGS. The adults were masters of timing. This was just an absolutely delightful experience and I can’t believe this kind of dedication and joy and love for the whole endeavor that is Halloween exists. A CLASSIC Halloween experience that put something back in my soul like a weird nostalgic hug. Unpretentious, not trying to scare the bejeepers out of me, just wanted me to come and scream and have a great time. I love this kind of haunted house. Thank you folks. What a great...
