You get what you pay for! Trent and Lindsey have been the most incredible caretakers of my hair for the last couple years. I was referred to them when my other barber moved to LA. I recently moved to Bothell, which is a 30-45 minute drive from Old Habits. I saw a trendy looking barber shop about a 2 minute walk from my new place and decided to give it chance. I thought, if this works out I could save myself an hour plus round trip whenever I need a hair cut. Lets just say I won't making that mistake again. Within 1 minute my entire head was botched. Jim Carrey in Dumb and Dumber looked better than I did with that stupid bowl on his head. I had to wait a couple months to let it grow out. I couldn't book an appointment with Trent fast enough. I went in there today with my tail between my legs and explained what had happened. Trent laughed it off and told me not to worry. Long story short, best hair cut of my life. I can honestly say that every time I walk out of Old Habits. Whether it's Trent or Lindsey, you know you're in best hands. They take their time and pay attention to every minor detail of each client. You know when you're getting a cut and feel uneasy as you're unsure of how it's going to turn out? This is how I always felt BEFORE I started going to Trent. Every haircut I have gotten from Trent has been nothing less than perfect. He takes his time to understand your hair and goes great lengths to make sure that you leave his shop with a cut that is representative of the quality of haircuts that come out of his shop. This small barber shop hidden in Seattle in the Old Rainier brewery has one of the best barbers in the West. If you want a barber who actually knows hair, make an appointment with Trent. After just a few cuts with Trent, he told me that I had been parting my hair and getting it cut the wrong direction and suggested that I part it the other way. Even though this was the way I had been parting my hair my entire life, I was confident Trent knew what he was doing. An outstanding cut from Vic! After trusting my hair to Trent and Lindsey for years, I booked an appointment with their newest barber Vic, because I needed a cut right away. What an outstanding haircut! Vic is from Madrid and has been in Seattle for two years. He has some seriously great barber skills. Rather than giving him detailed instructions for what I typically get, I asked him what he thinks I should do. He told me, I said “go for it”, and I’m glad I did. My hair looks fantastic. Not a crazy-tight fade, but a fade that fits the shape of my face perfectly. Vic took his time and actually stopped to show me his progress several times, just to make sure I was happy with the progress. On top of the great cut, Vic is a great conversationalist.
