If you’re looking for an afternoon of pure nostalgic joy or just a place to let the kids burn off some energy, West Seattle Arcade is a total winner. Tucked into the heart of West Seattle, this spot is an absolute gem. It’s a cozy, well-kept arcade with just the right mix of old-school classics and modern favorites. Think Pac-Man and pinball side by side with air hockey and multiplayer racing games. What really makes this place shine is the vibe. It’s family-friendly but still totally cool for date nights or hanging out with friends. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and everything is clean and well-maintained (which isn’t always the case at arcades, let’s be honest). You don’t feel like you’re in a dark, loud game cave—you feel like you’re part of a little local secret. Pricing is fair too. You can load up a card with credits. We visited on a weekday afternoon and basically had the run of the place. My kids were in heaven bouncing from claw machines to the Dancing game. There’s even a seating area where they even just birthdays. It’s clear this place is run with love. Owners are there every day. There’s a real sense of community here—like they want you to have a great time, not just take your money. I can’t recommend it enough to anyone looking for good fun in West Seattle. Five stars, easy.

Took my team out for some fun on Alki Beach last night and we had an absolute blast at West Seattle Arcade! They have an impressive selection of games, and you can tell a lot of thought went into curating them. We particularly loved their fantastic pinball collection which spanned the decades. This brought back some nostalgic memories and the owner Matt gave us a rundown of each game's history. We built up some friendly competition gaming for tickets and prizes. And I have to note Asphalt 9 - stole the show! It's hands down the best racing game I've ever played. The whole team enjoyed the night and we can't wait to go back. Big thanks to Matt and Elyssa for making us feel so welcome!

Outstanding staff, great arcade in a gorgeous location in Seattle. Had my son’s 5th birthday party there. Highly recommend to have a kids birthday party here. Drinks, snacks, utensils, plates and napkins included with the rental of the party space. Super accommodating staff members throughout the process of the party. Parking for you during your party is arranged by the arcade. Thank you for making our son’s birthday epic.

We had a really bad experience here. To preface, we have come here sometimes once a week, but definitely multiple times a month, especially during the winter. Spent a ridiculous amount of money at this specific arcade collecting points for the cool prizes. One day, our kids were playing this game called Super Star 2 - the machine lit up, they won the switch gift card pack which was like a $100 prize. They were ecstatic. But then the machine didn’t give them the prize. We went up the manager in charge and he literally just brushed it off and said they didn’t win. We asked to speak to someone else to maybe review the camera footage, as our kids are honest people who wouldn’t lie about a machine lighting up. They assured us this footage would be reviewed and we’d be called back. Never happened. Two week later we went in snd the same person we spoke to originally said “oh yeah, we reviewed the footage and they didn’t win.” When I asked why they didn’t call us we got a non answer. So, after we physically came in weeks later to figure out why no one called us - they just essentially said “oops, nope, your kids lied. You lied.” Did they share the footage they allegedly reviewed with us? Nope.

We’ll be regulars at south gate arcade and round 1. So much for supporting a...
