Tonight had to be the worst experince ever eating at this location. Ive been here numerous times which is why today I decided to bring guests who are from out of town thinking it will be a great experince, 😮💨umm Wrong😡I was dissapointed as so were my guests🤮. It took close to 2 hours before we started eating our meal and during the whole experience, our orders kept gettin screwed up or was not fulfilled😖. Oh the manager, Rory I think, didnt even care to do his job and help the server who seem to be struggling with 5 or 6 tables plus our table of 6. The manager shoulve came and explain to us on what is happening or assist the poor server who was really trying😮💨😮💨.
Oh and check this out, I asked for chips and salsa and the employee tells me, oh we charge $5 for that and its unlimited but then failed to tell us theyre almost out of chips and salsa so when we asked for more they said theyre out😖🤨😮💨.
Tonights experince was a joke and I normally would just forget it but I honestly think the manager Rory dropped the ball on this one. I spoke to the other manager, Courtney before leavin and she just apologized and stated they will do better but who knows. 😖😖😖😖
Yall charge alot for basic dish and the portions are small plus charge for a damn chips and salsa that comes free at many other hispanic restaurants but Im ok with that but the least yall can do is offer better service.
We paid full and tipped even though the experince was terrible, again please Do...
Read moreI had a fantastic experience at Cactus in West Seattle, and I have to give a huge shoutout to Avery, who provided exceptional service from start to finish. I was there for a casual business lunch, and Avery’s professionalism and attention to detail made it a seamless and enjoyable outing.
The brisket burrito was absolutely delicious—tender, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. You can tell they take pride in their ingredients. I also tried one of their mocktails, which had a vibrant, refreshing grapefruit flavor that complemented the meal perfectly. It’s not easy to find non-alcoholic drinks with that kind of balance and depth, but Cactus nails it.
What really stood out was how Avery managed the table with a professional yet welcoming energy. They were attentive without hovering, quick with recommendations, and truly seemed to understand the dynamic of a business meal. It’s rare to find that level of service—where someone is clearly invested not just in the food experience but in making sure the guest’s purpose is respected, whether it’s a social lunch or a client meeting.
If you’re looking for a spot in West Seattle that delivers on both food and service, Cactus with Avery on the floor is...
Read moreI took my team to lunch here on a Thursday, at noon. It was not busy and we were ready with our orders quickly. It took about 30 minutes to get our drinks, and just to have lunch took almost two hours - waiting for food and drinks... The first set of drinks we requested were out of order due to their slushy machine being down. We were really looking forward to trying the tequila colada, so that was a bummer (but these things happen)! The server had no suggestions for alternatives when he delivered this news (10+min after we ordered them) and said he'd let us pick other drinks and be right back. Another 10+ min went by before he came back to ask what we wanted instead. Our server only checked on us once in all that time (2 hours). They also ended up charging us for two (overpriced) drinks that we didn't even get because their slushy machine was down. I didn't catch it when I was paying because lunch had taken so long that I was feeling rushed... When I submitted the expense report the next day is when I noticed they had charged 4 drinks, when we'd only gotten 2. It's a beautiful place and everyone enjoyed their food a lot. But service was very poor on this...
