Horrible customer service. I went in about 30 minutes before closing. Two young woman, one a trainee, were helping a middle aged woman and an old man. Neither employee acknowledged me for 5 minutes. Finally they asked me if I had a quick question. I said I just needed to buy a screen protector. Sure we can help with that they said. And then nothing. Went back helping other customers. Then another guy walks in and they take his bill payment. I wait. No help. Silence. Finally the old guys phone is activated and then he starts asking questions. Like a million. How do I use the internet. Stuff like that. It’s been 20 minutes. Finally I say, excuse me can I just buy a screen protector? Sorry sir you’ll have to wait until we finish with other customers. And I walk out. My only satisfaction is bringing this life suck of a store’s rating down a little bit.
UPDATE: Returned the following day to discuss poor customer service and give this place an undeserved second chance. Walked in mid afternoon. An older gentleman and employee were sitting at a desk. No acknowledgement of my presence. I waited. They were discussing happenings in occidental and how the dudes work was going in Lucerne. A bit of idle chatter about the weather. I waited. After about 90 seconds with no greeting whatsoever, I came to the conclusion that these people just don’t care about customer service or basic human dignity. I left. Went to AT&T outlet by Starbucks and was helped right away.
MORAL OF THE STORY: If at all possible, avoid this place. Go...
Read moreAvoid this store. Absolutely horrible. My sister and I are on a family plan, her phone died on August 9th, so we went into the store to get her a new phone. Since that day, we have been having to make multiple calls to Verizon to fix problems on our account that were created by the salesperson at this store. He talked us into opening a new line in order to get her a free phone, the line itself would be free since we wouldn't have a plan on it. Sounds good, except we were were billed for the activation of the line, billed for a monthly service plan on the line, and her line is/was being billed monthly installments for the "free" phone. Not only that, the salesperson made changes to my line, adding "one time service fees" that we had to call Verizon to have removed, even though no changes were made to my line. Finally got everything fixed this morning. On top of this, there were several other issues with the salesperson that should have been red flags, having to do with his knowledge of how the systems work, and his difficulties in verifying my sister's identity in order make the changes to the account, ie add a new device and line. Absolutely...
Read moreThis place is a misery every time I come in. Unfortunately I have to refill some wifi hotspots for my business every month. I wish I could do it online but sadly their employees at the store can't figure out how to set me up to do that. Today there was one employee working with 5 people waiting. To his credit he was hustling but there was only so much he could do . Finally another employee showed up and after another 10 mins a third. After waiting for 45 minutes the guy helping me told me there is a $3 charge per line that I'd never had to pay before. He tried to tell me that it was for my convenience. I'm not sure how waiting 45 mins because of their staffing ineptitude is convenient for me. Maybe they should have docked the pay of the guy who was late and put that toward my convenience fee? They couldn't wrap their brain around the fact that I have never been charged this "convenience" fee before. They said that the last person who didn't charge me was no longer with the company. I'm guess that this person was also in charge of staff scheduling. His loss is definitely being felt. The sad part is that I'm going to have to do this...
