Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Sebastopol

This morning at 8:30am, I ordered a grande iced brownsugar oatmilk shaken espresso with light ice. And a piece of pumpkin bread. They asked if I would like the pumpkin bread warmed up and I said "No thank you." I received my drink & it had the full amount of ice they would put into a grande iced coffee.(if not, more!) I tasted it and it literally tasted like a plain iced coffee. No flavoring. No sweetness just plain iced coffee. Not shaken. Nothing. I then received my pumpkin bread and it was warmed up, after they had asked if I wanted it warmed up and I had said no. Ah, Starbucks that used to welcome people with a smile free water if you need it and wifi. Now? Not so much. It's refreshing to see a company roll back basic kindness in the name of what, Exactly? Profit? Politics? Just keeping up with the times? I used to think community meant something here-that a warm space, a drink of water and a few minutes of using wifi weren't too much to ask. But I guess compassion went out of style around the same time empathy became bad for business which occurred right around the time when Trump was elected president.
