They do not provide job placement, coaching, or certified training. Using an ABA perspective they try to train auties to act neurotypical & put up with a regular workplace rather than provide supports.

Acting can be useful, but is not an effective or healthy longterm solution, as shown by the high suicide rates amongst our community.

They keep a loud environment with bright lights. I had decided to bring my father with me, and the staff spoke to him about me as if I were not there. All of the office staff were not on the spectrum.

After touring this organization as the founder of AWNJ (Autistic Women of New Jersey), & an Autistic woman myself, I would not recommend this organization.

I would highly recommend looking into other services through DDD & DVRS such as the work rehabilitation...
