See I was born with neurological damage at birth , born breach a emergency cesarean section was performed to save my life as a result brain function and development suffered living with these challenges I navigate myself as best as I can a common learning process most humans adapt and learn like focusing on sights and communications motor skills,muscles hand and eye agility " miss fire " so Driving a Car and Math related puzzles response time , and comprehensive reading and writing with short term memory keeps me in a adolescent state of a pre- teen 13yrs. with behavior * ticks* constantly sounding out a word or a phrase over and over again SEE: Dustin Hoffmans Rainman Character in the movie " Rainman " As a Local living resident of Sedro-Woolley I've been blessed that this town is flat and I can commute independently on my bicycle and as of recently a " E- Bike was gifted to me to ease the wear and tear on my spine see I'm 57 years of age with a lifetime of hard labor I've developed arthritis Bone and muscle degenerative disease the work related repetitive lifting carry constantly working in non stop factories semi no skilled concrete warehouse long hours standing I had a work related injury and became physically disabled and forced in to a early retirement for physical labor and spend most of my time with my music and enjoying free time in a simple small town slower paced less stress lifestyle now The Eagles always have a events for the community and its members and its next door to my Lodge Burlington Sedro-Woolley Masonic Brotherhood #36 now expanded to include surrounding Masonic Lodges and newly named Skagit Chapter Oder Of Masons a Merge or three Lodges to accommodate distance for active and new members to call home I'm not a Eagles Member but I'm grateful to be able to entertain the locals and fan base meet new locals and be home in 5 mins after a night's worth of singing and playing . Im also a member of The American Legion Post #86 in Blaine so I have my card for Sedro-Woolley and they have dinner nights , karaokeI didn't serve in the armed forces due to my disability but my sister, and three brothers served and my membership is granted by surviving and sons and daughters of a Military Honorably Discharged person as my father was a Airborne Ranger and Joined in 1943 in Brisbane Australia becoming a Paratrooper 11th Airborne Rangers as he retreated the Japanese to re- group and meet with the Americans for supplies and merge his 1st Filipino Infantry Soldier/Scout as Corporal Santiago Kinanahan every time I come to a Legion Hall I'm overwhelmed with what my father and all who served and sacrificed for me to be born here in the N.W. and as I age I won't be bored Isolated and without a fellowship or bingo and dinner/ dance or fund raising community events to attend Thank You Fraternal Order Of Eagles Leonardo...

The space provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere that was perfect for honoring Fred’s memory. The staff was incredibly accommodating and respectful, making sure every detail was taken care of so that we could focus on remembering Fred. The venue was spacious, clean. The sense of community and camaraderie was palpable, and it truly felt like a home away from home.
