Funky Monkey Mercantile — Local services in Seguin

I went to the Funky Monkey, 8/27/2024, and I barely opened the door and they told me I was not allowed in with my children & stroller. I looked online and claim to be handicapped accessible which they are not. For reference an average standard wheelchair, keep in mind most are larger, is 36 inches tall, 25 inches wide, and 42 inches long. My stroller is the baby trend expedition with dimensions of 43 Inches (H) x 26.26 Inches (W) x 48 Inches (L). I have gone to many many many antique malls and stores all over TX with this stroller and my children and HAVE NEVER been denied access before. After I left the Funky Monkey I went straight to a smaller antique shop Austin Street Vintage and they let us right in, no problem, welcoming in fact. I love the Funky Monkey and send everyone I know to visit. It tailors to every audience and is my fave place to stop to browse. I have bought gifts, furniture, clothes, decor, shoes, paint, and so many things here. My kids love to shop here too. One time my daughter and I each picked out a tea cup for a party and it is one of my fave memories. I also took an entire group of women there as a part of a girls day out and we all had a blast. I’ve got to say, this is the BEST antique shop in Seguin! I walked in not really knowing what to expect, but I had already heard good things about the shop from locals in town. I was NOT disappointed!
