Didn’t have the best experience with the shop owner. The majority of the players/customers were incredible. Some stuff was just unprofessional, like lack of timely communication. Had a scheduled game which I confirmed with him, but when we arrived with players he then informed me another person would be running it.

The unprofessionalism I could get over, but I left when it started to feel like high school.

During a gaming night, the owner walked in, interrupted two different games simultaneously to announce, ‘someone in here stinks. So bad. Take showers. Go buy some deodorant, put it in your car. But I can smell yall from downstairs.’ I understand the need to communicate issues, but the way he did it felt less like resolution and more like bullying. The issue could have been addressed quietly, or after the games. More than one player sunk down, turned bright red and tried to discreetly sniff themselves. For about a decade now I'd been hoping for a more local LGS (Local Game Store) to come to the valley, little did I know this gem had been planning to open right under my nose!

Each time I've walked in, the owner has always welcomed me with a warm smile and a riveting conversation about the current and upcomings for games such as Magic, Pokémon and even Metazoo when they were invested into it!

Dr. Cards runs events pretty often and I can't say I've ever been displeased with anything that goes on in the shop! I would highly reccomend this shop to anyone looking for either a new LGS, or even those looking to start...

Dr. Cards and Gaming is the best spot for TCGs and other hobbies! The owner Dave is just phenomenal! My family and I have been going weekly to Dr. Cards for about 4 Months and we’ve had nothing but great experiences each time. From learning MetaZoo and meeting new people, to great business transactions and fair pricing. Dave can’t be beat. I have enjoyed being a mom and bringing my child for Pokémon tcg nights many times and can’t imagine going any other place. We love Dr. Cards and Gaming and we love Dave!
