Seymour Spa — Local services in Seymour

Unfortunately this experience was very uncomfortable and unprofessional. The message itself was good. But the over all experience was awful. Let me explain why. First they try to upcharge you on a package. Then we were asked if I wanted "regular oil" or if I wanted coconut oil. I said coconut oil. We had a couples message and they never asked my partner. Then what seemed to be the owner left the door open so she could yell out to her next clients (that she will be with them soon).So of course you could hear them talking in the waiting area like if they were in the room with you. Then the owner or manager went to answer the company phone. Which she not only interrupted my massage but then came back in the room with the phone. And continued to answer the phone as I was supposed to be receiving a massage. And then she would tell every caller not to buy the Groupon offers just to come in and she would match the offer. Because she only gets a few dollars from Groupon. So unprofessional. Then I went to give the lady two tips one for each. She tells me that it will be $20 extra for the coconut oil. Like what? Then I didn't have anymore cash besides the tips. So I used my credit card and was now a $3 fee. So I paid $23 for coconut oil. Which by the way was a jar of cooking coconut oil they they would stick their hands in. Instead of liquid oil that wouldn't be sticking your hands in after touching every client. STAY AWAY!!!! THEN TO TOP IT OFF SHE TRY TO HAGGLE MORE FOR THE TIPS. REPORTED IT TO GROUPON.

The actual massage was average to good for the price point BUT…

I personally had a bad experience. They tried to pressure me into cancelling the Groupon and paying them, the lady answered the phone 5x and called someone 2x on speaker during our session, she had my private part exposed (had underwear) instead of covering me fully up with the blanket, she had the curtain half open while there was a man in the lobby (you couldn’t see my body but if someone walked by they could) she left the room 2x to greet someone at the door, and was trying to find ways to up-charge (10$ extra for coconut oil, like what). OH and then pressured me into a tip and gave me an attitude when it wasn’t high? This was a TERRIBLE experience. There was another lady there without a client who would have been much better to answer the phone, no? My god. I really can’t believe how that all just went

Edit: I just looked through the other reviews and saw ones very similar to mine. So creepy!! How are the rating so high? This place should be checked...

I went to Seymour Spa today with my fiance for the first time as a new experience for us both to do a couples massage, and let me tell you it was out of this world! I was a little nervous and unsure about what it would be like when we first stepped into the place and then trying to decide that massage to do, we decided on the deep tissue whole body massage and it was such a great experience!

The ladies working there did a fantastic job giving both us such a relaxing massage along with always Constantly asking if we were ok with the consistently Of the massage! It was a hour massage and over all it was so relaxing And it wasn’t rushed and the ladies made us feel comfortable to be there ! We definitely will be back for more and try out other massages as well! Thank you so much Seymour Spa for the great first experience! I recommend this place VERY...
