My favorite place to get a facial! And my favorite place to buy skincare and wellness items, of course :) Kait is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. I came to her at a time when my skin was flaring up and driving me crazy — she really took the time to investigate underlying issues and causes and help me understand what was going on and how to address it. At the same time, Kait also provides the most relaxing facial experience - her setup is clean but cozy and all the products smell amazing. She even provides noise cancelling headphones with soothing music so that you can really chill out (as a mom of 2 very busy little kids…quiet peace is very special to me). Make sure you build in some extra time to shop afterwards — you’ll definitely want to use some of the products Kait uses AND she can create and customize an entire skincare regimen for you. And then you’ll want to buy pretty much everything else you see in this beautiful, well-edited store :) I was not someone who gets regular facials (my only standing “skincare” appointment prior to this was my Dysport, ha)…but NOW I am! What a great gem! This story carries such effective, well-produced products (yes, on the pricier side, but also yes, the products are worth their pricetag).

What I love most: the owner uses all of the products, so when she's speaking to you about feautres/etc. it's coming from personal use which I appreciate.

I frequently bought skincare at Sephora, and while this doesn't replace that completely, I have found this store's guidance to be 100% on-point; whereas, with Sephora I was constantly returning product (for reasons such as the product didn't work at all, wasn't at all what I was asking for, etc.).

My skin type: fair, combo and highly acne-prone even at 30 years old. My concern: maskne (acne from face coverings), hormonal breakouts.

I'm not a newb to skincare, acids, masks, etc. What SLFMKR carries is the best! I recently tried their CBD eye patches = HOOKED. And I was directed away from a mask I had my eye on over to the Herbivore Blue Tansy resurfacing mask.....it's amazing.
