I was going to purchase online as I was sent some codes to use. I clicked into the terms & conditions, so I could read through, and then I couldn't get back into the order to place it.
I didn't feel like entering everything again so I called My Pillow customer service. The nice gentleman that answered the phone was so polite & friendly. He recognized that I live in Shakopee, MN and he suggested I visit the My Pillow Outlet store. He said I wouldn't have to pay for shipping & could bring my items home with me. The store is literally a 3 minute drive from my home. I thanked him and decided to visit the store during Memorial Day weekend.
It was easy to get to, plenty of parking, including handicap parking. I was greeted by the sales clerk as soon as I entered & I grabbed a cart & started my shopping.
I bought 4 sets of a 6 pack of towels and a large pet blanket for my 100 lb. Bernese Mountain Dog, Bentley.
I wasn't going to buy the pet blanket at first, but the sweet lady behind the counter said it's so worth it because it's large and it's waterproof (as well as machine washable). She said it's great if they are wet, so that if they lay on the blanket it won't go through onto your couch (or bed). Plus she said it's an additional 25% off because of the holiday weekend.
That's all I needed to hear because we have a leather couch & that's where I typically have a throw for him, but it's not waterproof.
On top of the 25% off of everything, I was also given a free copy of Mike's book, which I can't wait to read. I took a selfie with Mike's cardboard life size image on my way out of the store.
I'll probably go back Monday because they also had beach towels.
I'll definitely be back!! It is a warehouse behind all the merchandise, but they have the aisles of product set up well.

Read moreMy experience with My Pillow was very upsetting as they have been advertising their pillow for over three years as two pillows for 100 dollars and recently their advertising as buy one get one free so in my mind it would be two pillows for 50 dollars (of course plus shipping and handling) so I called to order two of them, but I am told the price is two pillows for 79 dollars plus shipping and handling. When I questioned the young lady why is it 79 dollars for two if the price originally was 100 dollars for two, how is that buy one get one free? We went back-and-forth and she could not answer my question so she hung up on me. :(
I was a little upset over how a big company could just have their workers hang up on a potential customer. I was going to order the pillows, but when she hung up on me I contacted the BBB because I was so angry. They did respond to the BBB, but they would not address the issue all they get saying is the pillows are 79 dollars. Now I am undecided if I want to buy these pillows. Has anyone had a similar experience? We wanted to return it, however, upon calling their call center I was informed that they cold not locate my order. I was asked how I ordered it and I told them directly through the My Pillow web site, not Amazon or eBay. So with them not being able to locate my order, for which I paid $200 plus, they are done with me.
