Go to a different Pizza Hut, any Pizza Hut. Ordered two large, bread sticks, and a garden salad using their online app for on National Pizza Day, for carryout at this location. To set the scene: we showed up five minutes before our order was due to be ready, the shabby interior crowded with round tables within a few feet of the register and the door leading to the outside that opened over and over letting in the outside wintry air, which made it really awesome for the people smashed into the nearby tables who had to eat with randos standing against their tables waiting for their carryouts to come up. I heard the manager (manning the register, natch) call out a couple names so we hung back since we were early, which gave us a solid 15 minutes to observe the dumpster fire known as the Shakopee Pizza Hut location. The kitchen was filthy, beyond any rush. This wasn't some toppings on the floor on the line from dinner rush, this was systemic filth and disorder. The drivers were frequently in the kitchen handling the raw ingredients and poking at orders before they were cooked. A dozen finished items were stacked haphazardly on a rolling rack behind the register, nothing boxed up, all intended for dine-in customers. Nearly all continued to sit the entire time we were there. Order after order was returned by customers for being wildly wrong, and wrong orders, often sitting at a table for ten minutes before getting returned, were stacked on top of the pile of other dine-in orders, presumably for recycling on the next hapless customer. After waiting 15 minutes and the manager just watching the growing line of customers with wild eyes and being careful not to make eye contact with any of us, I pushed up, stood at the register for a couple minutes until the manager decided I wasn't going to magically leave, asked me what I wanted, and after looking through the pile of tickets in front of him, reached under the counter and pulled out my order which had been apparently sitting there for at least 20 minutes. The side garden salad that was part of my order turned out to be a tiny plastic clamshell container that I was supposed to make on my own in their pretend salad bar. I wouldn't have minded as much if they had any of the ingredients their garden salad in the online menu showed. So my wife got a iceberg lettuce, American cheese, and bacon bits salad. Hoped you loved it, honey. Then, I was charged the full amount - no 30% discount as promised online for National Pizza Day - and when I asked about the bill the manager said he "was told nothing and knows nothing". Pay, or else.
My advice is find another place to get your pizza. If it has to be Pizza Hut, at a minimum go to...
Read moreMy family used to enjoy eating here with the buffet. In the last 1-2 years I’ve ordered a couple times and have been very disappointed. One time ordered for work and they didn’t cut the pizza and another time they burned it and another they put like no toppings it was mostly just crust. The moment I decided to never order again was when they delivered to the wrong address they didn’t update the status it said pending even though they had delivered it one hour ago and when I called to let then know I never received my pizza they acted like I was lying the manager was very rude she told me the delivery driver “gave it to me in person” and wanted to charge me again for a new order did not want to return my money , they did end up sending a new order but in total took two and a half hours from original order until we were actually eating a slice of pizza . We ended up finding out the delivery driver sent it to the wrong house and never even interacted with someone as he had stated because there was pizza boxes outside sitting in front of a random house and it was my exact order. So I knew they were all lying they had never even knocked or talked to anyone as they stated they had which is reason they didn’t want to refund me . The manager promised me a free pizza next order for the troubles , and when I ordered again about a week later she acted like I was lying again (it was the same manager) she even told me “yes it was me but I would never say that” even though my friends and kids heard her over the phone say it too when we had the incident happen ....
Read moreWe have gone to this location a few times over the years and never had a bad experience. Sure they have been slow but always had good wait staff. Today I was craving pizza hut so my bf and I decided to go. We walk in and there is a family of 5 standing there before us. So we wait, the family mutters we are leaving Cant get any service. We wait a few more minutes and she seats us by the door. We are sitting there for 10 minutes before she asks for drink choices and brings a menu. She leaves, while we are waiting for her to come back the phone is constantly ringing and no one is picking it up, finally (I assume the manager) picks up the phone and informs the customer that they are running off 1 oven since one is down and 2 people decided to not show up today. So I say ok I get why they are slow on staff. However, the waitress was not very attentive, she never told us the issue and several other people came in and left because she never served them. We finally got our food and half of my pizza was burnt, but I was so hungry that I ate it. Our drinks were gone halfway through our pizza, the waitress walked by several times and looked at them but never refilled them. I understand they were having issues but you still need to be attentive to your customers, just be honest. The phone also rang the whole time we were there nonstop, so it was hard having a conversation. I definitely will think twice about going back there...
