Ell's Jewelry — Local services in Shawnee

23 years ago we were lucky enough to find ELL’s Jewelry. What a rare find! Not only do they have a great selection of beautiful jewelry with reasonable pricing they become family. We’ve never considered purchasing jewelry anywhere else. From day one they went over and above staying late, working with an engagement ring purchased from another jeweler (who wasn’t interested in helping me find the perfect setting) to find the perfect wedding setting. They remounted and customized to perfection and did it on a rush so we could get married the following week. Mind you this was on a Saturday and they are closed Sunday and Monday and we left on Thursday morning. The customer service and creative skills are flawless. Two of our three sons have purchased for their brides and the third has yet to find a bride. I cannot imagine shopping anywhere else. I had thought I had a prong missing on my wedding ring so I brought it in and they told me I needed 4 prongs for $133 seemed high but they did a beautiful job. So I brought another ring to inspect since I’ve had it 20 years, they told me I needed 16 prongs replaced for $430! I said I’m gonna get a second opinion- took it to CJs in OKC (my mom recommended) and they told me one prong needed repair $15, then I told her I had another place suggested I needed all 16 replaced, are you sure it’s only one, please look again. She did and said only see one prong needing repair. I was told Ell’s only has one jeweler they use and that’s who gave my estimate. Very disappointed. Ell’s also gave an estimate on another ring for $150 to replace the shank (with another ring I had) and repair a small break in the gold, I’m gonna take it to CJs too! We went to every well known jewelry store from Moore to NW OKC and as far as Tulsa! After a year of looking, we ended up buying at Ell’s in Shawnee as they had a great selection, best people to work with and there was NO PRESSURE! They were happy to order a selection of diamonds for us without us being financially obligated to purchase before we were ready. They ordered in a collection for us they didn’t even carry for my fiancé! The staff was knowledgeable and extremely helpful to ensure we got exactly what we wanted!
