About 2 and a half months ago I purchased a pair of Red Wings Irish Setter boots. When shopping for the boots I explained to the store rep that I work as a hotshot driver for the oilfield and was looking for quality. The store rep seemed helpful at the time showing me different boots and was friendly enough so I was happy with the assistance I was given at that time. I soon found out that the boots I had purchased were not what I was told they were. At the time of purchase I was told the Irish Setter boots were American Made and of higher quality than the other boots at close the the same cost. In less than 3 months the leather has worn from the toe of the boots and I find out they are made in China (Shame on me for not researching on my own). Today I entered Teners again to try to purchase a toe cap, the woman at the register tried to help but was unsure if they had what I was looking for so she asked a gentleman who also worked there and his response was an abrupt No! Followed by nothing. Now I get it you didn't have the item I was wanting but you also offered no alternative suggestions for a solution or another place to check for the toe cap. I would have been happy to purchase the toe cap if you had them but now after being lied to just to make a quick sale on the original purchase and the lack of interest I recieved today I will no longer...
Read moreMy husband & I go here to get his boots to wear for work alot of times as we did on Saturday 1-20-18.. Well this time i felt like they were just watching me as if i were going to steal something.. So anyway my husband got the boots he thought he would try & we left. We get home he puts the boots on & walks around IN THE HOUSE & he decided he just don't like them & wanted me to take them back. So back in the box they go & i take them back.. They tried to tell me that i couldn't get a refund or anything because they could not resale them because they had been worn & she shows me a little bitty speck on the bottom of the boot.. Mind you my husband never left our living room & I returned the boots the next day.. I told them again they were not worn & the young girl took them back to I guess the manager & then they decided to give me my refund.. It's just crazy how they treat you on a return even tho I had my recite & I paid cash they wanted to say anything they could to refuse my return.. Even tho I liked getting stuff from here & my husband getting his boots here from now on I'll go to Atwoods for the boots.. Just to much bs on a return exchange or anything EVEN WITH YOUR RECITE...This return policy needs to be fixed...
Read moreI Bought a pair of boots an hour ago, went back to return them because they didn't wear right. The teenage girl at register turned me away saying they were scuffed, so I went home and wiped the dirt off the rubber bottoms (yea, rubber). Brought them back, shining and looking better than I bought them. They turned me away again, saying it's because I wore them once. Now I have to contact the owner Pat Hughes so I can meet him in person to ask why the receipt says 30 return if not satisfied, which is pretty funny because they even have a 90 day satisfaction guarantee online. But hey, when all you have is teenage girls running a store and trying to make a sell, what do you expect for customer relations? I called up to the store, and they gave me a disconnected number for Sherman Texas. As my friend was walking out of the store, the girls at the counter sarcastically said "well, we'll see you tomorrow too" because she said she'd come back tomorrow to talk to a manager. Leaving teenage girls without a manager is just asking for...
