Walgreens Pharmacy — Local services in Shawnee

High prices when paying out of pocket, had to ask them to please look for a discount coupon...it dropped their price by $100! Shouldn't even have to ask...should be common place at a pharmacy. They were shut down for 2 DAYS resulting in a backlog & EXTREMELY busy day once they were finally open again...this resulted in 35 + line of people STANDING in line waiting as well as the drive through line wrapping around the building. During this day I was treated EXTREMELY rude by some chic that's not even supposed to be back there and interrupted the NICE girl that was helping me , after I'd ALREADY stood in line (IN PAIN) for 40 minutes until finally making it to the counter, she proceeds to snap at me to tell me that I'll now have to wait additionally (or come all the way back and wait in line AGAIN as i live in Prague NOT Shawnee) until after they close for lunch because it was at this point, 15 minutes till closing for their lunch and they didn't even have it ready yet 🙄. She basically yelled at me that "they were doing me a favor to begin with because they weren't doing "waiters" that day" because of THEIR being closed for two days and therefore being extremely backlogged . I was furious, so I stopped on my way out (AFTER I FINALLY GOT MY PRESCRIPTION from the NICE girl..wish i knew her name) and reported this UNEXCEPTABLE encounter to the in store supervisor, only for her to give me a number to reach a different manager on that following Monday, as well as admitting to me that the rude chic doesn't even WORK back there but that they'd made her go back and help! SERIOUSLY??? WOW. I'd also like to point out that the line inside had just kept growing with all this goin on so of course those poor people didn't even know they were basically waiting for nothing since the pharmacy was closing for lunch shortly....there were NO announcements made to those poor people explaining ANYTHING!!! Very very poor service Walgreens Pharmacy, you need to completely PREVENT this from happening again! VERY POORLY HANDLED AND COMPLETELY AWFUL FOR THOSE OF US THIS AFFECTED!! 😡 If I could give them negative...

just went to the window at walgreens off harrison in shawnee oklahoma 12/14/24 at 11:04 the young man that works the window in the blue shirt is the most disrespectful person i have ever seen! i was trying to talk the the pharmacist about my medication and he was talking over me and not even let us talk !! a person like this should never work with the public and in medical field this is why i have no trust in the medical field! please if anyone works at walgreens remove him before he gets...

Needed a prescription pretty badly for my 1 year old. Went here because Eric’s was closed and they were open late. Pull up 15 minutes after appointment and they bluntly said “no we don’t have it. We’ll auto text you.”

Never got an auto text, had to wait all the way until 9am the next day when I could’ve just gone to Eric’s.

This is the “better of the bad ones” in Shawnee over the CVS, but don’t count on...
