Shopping here feels very much like high school bullies were given a phone store.
They donât sell phones outright anymore, and that lack of commissions explains why the sudden absence of competency. If you want a new phone, youâll have to accept a payment plan for a month and then pay off the balance (even if youâre upgrading a phone on an existing account).
Staff doesnât seem to know what to do, and then mock customers. Nikki was more concerned about her eyelashes then figuring out some way to process a new phone.
Lack of clear instructions. Came in Monday trying to be a phone, they informed me someone hacked T-Mobile account and id have to fix that to buy a phone.
After trying unsuccessfully twice to spend money, turns out the system is down. After waisting an hour with the system, she finally calls a manager, then laughs before she says, âummm the manager wants to know if you can come back in 35 minutesâŚâ Itâs not their fault the system is down, but waiting an hour to tell me? Yeah. Seriously, save yourself time and money and go to Best Buy or target.
The Samsung a16 is listed for $200 on T-Mobile site, but Shelton is charge $230 (conveniently out of the cheaper 4 models), and itâs $180 at Best Buy. Plus t mobile now supposedly charges a $5 store...
Read moreTerrible experience!!!! If I could i would give no stars! My fiance was going to switch his service from Verizon to Tmobile. He bought his phone which is paid for. We told Melvin EXACTLY where we got it from. AT NO TIME did he disclose that if the phone was blacklisted ( still dont know what that is) or locked, money we paid would not be refunded. Long story short we were not able to change services and its only after that he says we could not get our money back. Of course I am upset at this point and in talking to him he said we never told him that calling me a liar!! I called tmobile and complained. My feeling is that every customer that brings in a outside phone should be told BEFORE any money changes hands that there may be a situation that it wont work. When I asked his coworker why we were not told she told me that they dont do that. I will never ever go to that store. Very unprofessional...what put me over the top is he actually called us liars. Please unless you eant to give your money away DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE!!
UPDATE...never received my 35.00 back still working on that but to add insult to injury they are trying to charge 193.00 for a service we dont even have!!! I have contacted the owner and waiting for...
Read moreWe were âhelpedâ by Dechuan today and my god were they unhelpful and just generally unkind. I went in to see about upgrading my phone and switching to my own plan off my parents. Pretty routine questions. They were visibly annoyed when I came in. They refused to acknowledge me in a completely empty store aside from a customer who was already being helped by their coworker. Eventually after a long enough uncomfortable silence he decided to ask what I needed. Mind you Iâm visibly handicapped on crutches and was not offered a chair until the other customer offered theirs. (They were simple folding chairs so should have been easy to offer) I sat down and asked about my aforementioned questions and was given vague answers to the value of plans but not what they entailed, I had to press repeatedly to get information about phone replacement options, and I even made it clear I was looking at switching to a plan with them, should have been an easy win for them. But with that customer service and how rude they were with me just asking casual routine questions, I decided I might be better off with a different company entirely so after that interaction Iâll be leaving t mobile and going with a...
