I don’t usually leave reviews with good or bad experiences. I did shop around before at other bridal shops so I know the experience I had here was not the normal experience you would have at other bridal shops! I was not satisfied at all with how things were handled all throughout my wedding experience!! They have beautiful bridesmaid dresses, wedding dresses and accessories, don’t get me wrong! This was the only reason I continued to choose this shop. However, they are not very helpful at all. I would try and get help and it was just the most awkward experience. I bought my wedding dress from David’s Bridal and they wouldn’t even let bring the dress in their store to be sure the veil I wanted matched or even to see if I liked it with my dress. When we figured out what we wanted for bridesmaid dresses she sized each of the girls. I got two that were sized correctly, one that was ordered to small, one that was 2 ft to long and another that was way way to big all around. I know alterations are to be expected. They did help with those that needed to be altered. I was thankful for that. Also, I ordered these dresses months before my wedding. They were suppose to be here mid April my wedding was in June. Due to COVID they closed their store/lobby like a lot of other businesses (understandable) however i would have appreciated being informed that they closed. To top it all off a warehouse I ordered my dresses from also closed, I understand the bridal shop had nothing to do with it! They knew the warehouse had closed but again I was not informed that they had closed so my dresses were going to take longer than expected! They didn’t even tell me until I got very persistent on finding out where my dresses were. I recommend getting staff in there that wants to jump in and help their guests and make them feel welcomed instead of awkward! I found my receipt from Brides Expressions from 8/2/2017 I thought I had lost it. I so badly wanted to leave a review for them 5 years but didn’t have info I needed. Well now I do! My son was getting married and I couldn’t find a dress either locally (Fargo ND) or online. I stumbled across BE through The Knot and contacted them. I shared my dilemma and asked if they could help. I told them exactly what I was looking for and the size. Since I wear woman’s plus size it makes ordering difficult. Tammy took all the info down and called me back saying she believed she had the perfect dress. Sight unseen I purchased the dress over the phone. When I received the dress all I could do was cry! It was EXACTLY what I was looking for! Perfect fit, only needed to be hemmed. I cannot say enough positive for BE of Watertown. They far exceeded expectations in the area of customer service. I have had nothing but great experiences! I had stopped at several bridal gown shops, and stumbled into here and found the one! The gals that have helped me were amazing!
