Unique Furniture — Local services in Sherwood

I purchased a living room set in July that I paid cash for. The same week I went back purchased another sofa for my den and a mattress set. It took the delivery men an hours to get it in my house. I kept telling them to take it back and I will find something else. The guy said no we’re gonna get this in for you. Well they got it in. After they left, there was 2 holes torn in the sofa. I took pictures, called and told Sue. This was her reply. “They told me they had a hard time getting it in house. when that happens you can expect there to be some kind of damage. I’ll send someone over to check on it.” Never sent anyone. 2 days later I sat on the sofa heard a pop! Sofa sunk on one end!!! Told finance company of my damage and poor sofa. No one ever came and no credit was given. I paid the $1300. Off vowing never to buy or recommend Unique Furniture to anyone. My niece saw the commercial and wanted to go shop. I told her poor quality high price. To each their own. Already need another sofa for My den. Embarrassed for anyone to see it looking like it’s several years old.

Please read my Update: Since posting this complaint, Unique Furniture has given me a change of heart. They called me, asked to pick up the sofa. After their inspection they fixed it perfectly. I went in to purchase new furniture, and seeing the owner as a family friend, Sue offered the pieces at a discounted price. I told her I was on a budget and didn’t want to finance again through American First Finance (that company is a joke), and she said she would work with me payment wise. I went through with the deal, sold my old couch then went back to the store to set a time for delivery. She then told me I will not be able to make payments with her unless I was buying the furniture out-right. I had no choice but to follow through since I just sold my couch. She has me apply to American First Finance, even after my last conversation to her was that I did NOT to finance through that company, AND puts the total price for both pieces of furniture in the financial agreement. Even after assuring me and writing on a receipt the total price that I would pay before agreeing to purchase the furniture. I was completely lied to and tricked. Yes the furniture is nice and I love my pieces but I would not recommend taking her word...

On June 13-14, 2024 I was headed to the NLR Sams Club but I noticed Unique Furniture before I arrived at Sams & instead decided to go for my first time visit to look for a Sectional, King Size Mattress, & Queen Size Mattress. I was greeted by Tracy as she showed me several different options to consider. She shared lots of information answering all my questions as I took notes & pictures. I told Tracy I would be back later that day. When I returned Tracy was gone to lunch but instead Sue was there & offered to help me further giving me even more options to consider! I decided I needed to go back home to get extra measurements of my space for a sectional. I came back the next day & looked around for a while with Angela & Sue narrowing my decisions & chose what I wanted to buy. All three of these wonderful women were very helpful & I definitely made all the right decisions to look @Unique Furniture. I'm definitely going back again & I will tell my friends about Unique Furniture! Thank You Ladies! C....
