Literally the WORST experience buying furniture. I purchased over the phone around Memorial day. Aaron, my sales rep tells me everything would be good to go and I can pick up 1 June. Delivery is $90 even though I live 1 mile down the road. They don't tell you when you pick up it'll be at a completely separate location that closes 2 hours sooner than the actual store. So, make sure you get off work super early if you plan on picking up instead of opting for delivery. He also says he would email my warranty information. Never happened. When I called the 1st to see what time I can pick up the rep says it won't be ready for pick up until the 8th (mind you I have no furniture in my living room because I was told and expected the 1st so I sold my old furniture). I called the 8th to see when I can pick up. Again, the rep explains the couch won't be ready until the following day. The couch was delivered to the warehouse, but I was told I can't pick up until the 9th. Why they kept pushing the date back is beyond me. "We're so sorry" is all they had to say. Now with all the jerking around they did the least they could have done was stay open a little longer so we could pick up (we had to make 2 trips). So, we get the couch, put it together and find out it's missing a peice. I call the next morning. Aaron explains that corporate (I'm assuming Hank himself. Lol) put up a 7 piece sectional and the store computer rings it up as a 6 peice. I kid you not, I asked when I first purchased if we will be receiving the exact product I looked at online. Aaron promised and exact words, "Yes Ma'am." So now if I want that 7th peice, guess who pays?? ME? Yep! Aaron tells me I have to pay $150 to get that peice. And BONUS I get to pick it up immediately. Read moreI purchased roughly $4,000 worth of furniture for various rooms from Hank’s Fine Furniture in North Little Rock. I also purchased the warranty plan for each piece. Less than 1 year after having my Opitimus Reclinder sofa the right side stopped working. I immediately contacted the warranty service (SAW ENTERPRISES) to try and schedule a repair. Long story short I called numerous times over several months and they finally sent someone to look at the sofa. He didn’t bring any parts with him and said he would have to order some and come back to repair. (I never saw this man again). Lol. The parts did in fact come in the mail roughly 6 months later. I called to ask them to send someone to repair since the parts had arrived. Once again complete run around and then they told me they didn’t service my area. Same company who sent the initial repair man out. By this time it had been over a year of me trying to have the couch repaired. In the midst of all this I called the Little Rock location and spoke to their manager. They said they could not help since I bought from NLR, but they did give me the home office number, which is equivalent to calling corporate. They directly me to the lady in charge of the whole department (HBIC) and she supposedly called the NLR manager and had them agree to send out their personal repair man. Can you guess what happened next??? No one ever came or called me back ever after calling at least 5 more times. Less than 2 months later the drawer slides broke on the dresser I also purchased. All of them 6 in total. I ended up repairing the sofa myself and now I’m about to repair the slides myself as once again I put in a work order only to be told yes they will fix it and never reviving any contact back. The moral of my story is DONT BUY ANYTHING FROM HANKS BECAUSE IT IS POORLY CRAFTED AND THE WARRANTY ISNT WORTH THE PAPER ITS PRINTED ON....
Read moreNever Again. Buyers Beware. I have previously purchased several furniture items from Hank’s including bedroom furniture for my entire home. Because of my previous positive experience, I decided to pursue living room furniture, more specifically a sleeper sofa. I purchased an entire living room set (swivel chair, sleeper sofa, love seat, 2 sets of tables) in April 2023. I was told this would be delivered the 1st week of May. That didn’t happen. After calling the store several times a week for the next three weeks, the delivery was made 5/26. While putting together the sleeper sofa, it was noticed that the mattress was not attached. The delivery personnel concluded that Someone had taken the mattress out of the sleeper sofa which now makes it non-functional. I was told on 5/26 that one would be overnighted and delivered right away by the next week. I followed up on 5/30 and was told that it would be on the next truck and should be delivered by the end of the. Nothing. The next week, after several calls, I was then informed that it would arrive and be delivered by the end of the week (6/9-6/11). Nothing. At this point, I am fed up. Their is a break down in communication. Calls to the home office have resulted in no assistance. They continue to put me off on someone and no one ever calls you back. I am requesting a return/refund as I have not received the all the items purchased. I have sent several referrals in the past to this store. I am no longer recommending their service to anyone.
