Golden Corral Buffet & Grill — Restaurant in North Little Rock

The place needs a health department visit"" so many code violations "if I could have video the smell in the bathroom""it would make you sick""I have reported the mold growing in the sinks""several time"" the past 6 months this place has gone too the dog's"" definitely needs a visit from the Heath Department!! There are 3 Amazing employees that bust their butts there""Cory is one"Arleen is tops""the managers ""there are a joke""I broke my finger there several weeks ago""not one manager""came and asked was I ok""I have watched employees"eating and waiting on customers at the same time""they set at a back table""trying too eat""trying too take care of their customers"" I have witnessed an employee ""drinking from the coolers as she worked"I have witnessed a very small child in the bakery are sitting on the floor"that belonged too an employee""all reported too managment!!Employees having their phone""food "" drinks will handle our food""spray chemicals "12 inches from our food"the meat grill has at least an inch of buildup under the grill""ever where you look or touch""is depressing""bloons have been up about in the ceiling for at least a year""sink drains are cut off ""pouring in the floor overflow""the daily bathroom check off cleaning list"hasn't been touched in months"" you hear the employees "" talking about how filthy the bathroom is and smells""the carpets smells like"" spoiled milk""has been spilled and left""I have too say we eat at at least 3 different state area of GOLDEN CORRAL""AND THIS IS THE WORST KEPT AND MANAGED""ONE I HAVE EVER BEEN""MY HUSBAND EAT A SALAD 3 TIMES A WEEK""I HAVE A REALLY HARD TIME FINDING ANYTHING TOO EAT AFTER GOING TOO THE BATHROOM"""MY GOT A HAMBURGER STEAK IT WAS RAW AS CAN BE""I CAN'T BELIEVE CORPORATE IS ALLOWING THIS...

Food is always great here which is why we RUSHED to get there before they closed. We got there at 837 pm AND knew they closed at 9. It's a buffet where you serve yourself so we knew it was doable! Plus I've waitressed myself so we knew to eat and go.

**HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT in the 3 girls working the front registers - they were very rude and hateful to us, the family in front of us AND the guy that came in after us!! Standing in the door way as you come in, Saying things like "we close in 20 min" and "if you think you can eat in 20 min", and even tried to lock the last guy out!!! Which is very uncalled for in restaurant biz! If the boss had a problem with people coming in 20-30 min before close he would have had them to turn the sign and lock the doors. But in this case the younger girls just wanted to make their to go plates and get out of there asap. I wanted to speak to the manager but decided we would eat & go and I'd leave it as a review for others to be warned before they go!

On a positive note- A+ to Hosea- our server was very blessed to have another table , He waited on us refilling drinks without hesitation and didn't complain at all about us coming in at closing time! We was sure to thank him for his kindness , as this is what you EXPECT when going into restaurants!

Staff was still stocking the buffet even as we were leaving around 915-920... And believe it or not there was customers still inside eating that had arrived...

Good food but horrible service!! Now you can choose. We had salads and main dish(burned! steak) and then we saw a server. She came so late. I mean the place is usually busy but there are many servers there too. Anyways, the pizza tray was empty for awhile. It took them awhile to get pizza. Same as their turkey tray. They had ham, the cheaper version of healthy meat. I love the fact that they serve USDA approved food but they need to replenish the empty plates every twenty minutes. Please take that as an advice not criticize. I have worked in food industry and know how this works. I loved their variety of vegetables and different type of cuisine they had including Mexican cheese dips and tacos. It was about to finish my observations that I heard somebody screaming behind me and when I turned my face it looked like a African American lady acting like a manager that do not take videos????of my food. I was shocked to hear such a rude woman ruin our experience of eating there even more. And I was like why on the Earth do I need to record videos of your food?? I have been there to Golden corral before both for lunch and dinner but have never seen any rude manager like this woman. I am surprised if she has any kind of management experience because her behavior was disgusting. Also I want to thank the owner for using environment friendly unbleached napkins. I hope the remaining food goes for homeless the same way they...
