If I could have posted a review with 0 stars I would. When a business such as a Bar and Grill is completely empty for a huge sporting event such as the college basketball championship (was also empty last year for the college football championship) there is a lot of things that should be in question.
I have been a customer here for a long time more frequently before than recently. Over the years the food and the service is just not the same. But of course for the atmosphere sometimes you go anyway. I could write a book but I'll shorten it for the ones who want to read this review but don't really care.
Starting with the appetizer no one wants cold chips and queso. Not one food item brought to our table was hot or warm to say the least. The burger order was more the size of a slider and could easily fit in the average size person's palm of their hand.
If a customer has multiple complaints during their experience the manager should probably visit the table to attempt to resolve the issue himself and not send messages by the waitress. When a customer asks to speak to a manager you should never approach the table with a hostile demeanor.
No one wants an alcoholic beverage that tastes like Seltzer water, mixed with cough syrup on ice . Everyone also knows that a Mojito has mint leaves. You don't correct bad service by saying we've already removed one item so we're not going to remove another and you're going to pay or else. You correct the issue by assisting your staff to do it right or do it yourself.
Justin McCord management is not your calling and this could have easily been resolved. You approached our table incorrectly and there is a reason your establishment is empty more times than not when there use to be no room for parking. No one was loud or unruly with you until you accused customers who had already paid minus the ticket with the issue of not wanting to pay and threatening to call the cops(everyone doesn't panic when you say you are calling the cops). You also incorrectly charged the tab in question for the drink that was paid for by someone else at the table in cash to diffuse the situation. When a customer asks for your managers information you probably shouldn't go in the back and call to tell your side of the story before bringing the information requested. And next time don't bring an email address when clearly you have a phone number you just called him on.
To your district manager Sam or whatever your name may be, you probably shouldn't lie saying you were on the phone and heard the exchange. Unruly, includes cuss words, actions and threats. You also shouldnt say your staff that apologized to us before we left acknowledged that we were unruly is also a lie as well. PLEASE LET ME SEE YOUR UNRULY CAMERA GOOTAGE THAT YOU HAVE ALREADY WATCHED THIS MORNING.
There were 3 active military members one who is also a fire fighter included in this party not to mention they didn't receive their military discount and word of mouth goes a long way. A business must maintain a certain dollar amount per sq ft to gain a profit. You may want to drop in and see why those seats are empty instead of telling customer's that obviously weren't coming back that they are banned. Next time get some names or IDs since we...
Read moreBeing active duty in the United States Army, I have been in some hostile environments, but nothing could prepare me for the hostile environment that I was put into last night. If I could give this restaurant zero stars I truly would. I’m not sure if the manager Justin McCord was intimidated by the color of the skin of the individuals at the table but Justin was by far the worse manager I have ever experienced.
This establishment is supposed to be a Bar and Grill that attracts crowds for big events. For this to be the NCAA Championship, this place was completely empty. While visiting this establishment we placed several orders for food and drinks. Through out the night we put up with several food items that were cold, serving chicken that had been sitting for a while, and drinks from the bar that were not properly made. When one drink was sent back you would think that the manager Justin McCord would approach the table to try to fix the switching and try to make things better however, Justin never came to the table. When giving the checks at the end of the night several things were wrong. Being charged for drinks that were sent back along with being charged for water, I just couldn’t wrap my head around why the manager never came to the table before being asked. When Justin finally approached the table, he came off aggressive and unwilling to fix the issue. The only question that was asked of Justin is for him to fix a proper drink or please remove the item from the receipt. For some odd reason Justin was unwilling to do stating that he had already removed one item. As a manger it is your job to make sure you staff is truly prepared for the night. The few options Justin gave was for us to pay the tab or he would call the cops on us stating “we refused to pay the tab”. However, all tabs were paid but the one ticket that was incorrectly charged. I do not understand why you felt the need to lie to your general manager. At the end of the day you were dealing with well-educated and professional individuals that will not stand for being talked down own. Justin had you came to the table as a professional all of this could have been eliminated. I will never step foot in your...
Read moreHorrible experience will NEVER go back again. Was given a $25 gift card by a family member and used it on a $10-$12 dollar meal.. I was out with a group of peers and everyone received their checks and cards back except for me. So when I asked the waitress what happened to my card and receipt , she replied "We just throw away all the cards with no money on them." I have never been to an establishment where your gift card is thrown away FOR you. And even with that my peer used a $15 gift card on a $14 meal but his card was given back to him. So at this point I'm noticing that something is fishy with what's going on. Later after about 15 minutes has passed since I told the waitress about my problem, another man (not the manager) came up to me and said "Is this the card?" Holding up a $100 Buffalo Wild Wings gift card. Me and all my peers considered this as a trap to get me to lie about what I actually spent. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!!! So I replied "No sir, it was a yellow $25 gift card looks just like the one my friend has sitting right there on the table." 10 more minutes pass and the same guy comes back with a new gift card with $16.00 of balance, (I keep my receipt because I suspected foul play). THE NEXT DAY I go back to spend my last $16.00 to get rid of this card so I won't have to go back again. And I pay for a meal that was roughly $13 and the manager comes to me and says, " Okay, this card has never been activated, put money on etc."( My suspicion of foul play was correct). So I said Sir, I was just here last night and we had the same problem yesterday. Then the whole problem was resolved. Worst experience of my life hands down with a restaurant and will NEVER...
