There’s a personal touch at Schwarzschild that you’re not going to get anywhere else. From the first time I walked in, the staff was friendly and helpful, even when I was just browsing. Their selection is very broad and full of beautiful pieces. But what keeps me coming back has been my interactions with the sales people, specifically Ron Salmon. Within minutes of my first interaction with him, he picked up on my personal style and was able to make very helpful suggestions. Every time I’ve come in, he listens closely to what I am looking for and can find pieces that are so “me.” He displays a great knowledge for his inventory as he seems able to whip out many options from all different sections of the store extremely quickly. Ron adds a personal touch to the jewelry-buying process as he gets to know his clients and helps them to the greatest extent of his ability. When I couldn’t find exactly what I was looking for in the store, he took the time to go through a book as thick as the Yellowpages that shows options they can special-order with me. Ron was patient and helpful, offering suggestions and providing useful information. The one time he was already with another customer when I came in, the other saleswoman was also lovely and very helpful. I have never felt any pressure while there, whether I was browsing or looking to buy. Ron and the other sales people are truly there to help you find the perfect piece you’ll cherish forever. While on vacation in richmond we visited Schwarzschild jewelers to view the Omega watch brand. First off the store is amazing. Wynn (sales person) was very helpful. She took her time showing us many different watches, not just Omega. It was so nice to be able to view a variety of watches in sizes and finishes. With Wynn help and patience I was proud to purchase a beautiful Omega. I would recommend anyone to visit Schwarzschild jewelers for their time piece needs at any price point.

ANOTHER YEAR ANOTHER WATCH! Vacation time again brings me Virginia. I talked my wife into going shopping (wasn’t hard)while visiting her mother. She could shop all day as long as I got to look at the watches at Schwarzschild Jewelers, Also to fulfill a promise I had made to Wynn. Stop by and say hello. After buying the aqua terra last year I’ve longed for the new white speedmaster. To my surprise Wynn and the watch were present ! Sad to say I left the store without the watch. How many watches does a guy need? ONE MORE! Got back home in northwest Indiana and asked Wynn if she could ship watch to me. As I’m writing this review the white speedmaster is being overnighted to my home. Again Wynn as made my purchase a wonderful experience. I’m proud to be a customer of Schwarzschild’s. I went in to get my heirloom engagement ring sized down. They also informed me it would need to be re shanked, as the band was too thin. That was no problem. However, a few months in I noticed a huge bend in the side of my ring while taking it off. Luckily I was able to bend it back after being terrified my ring was ruined. Ever since I’ve been scared to wear it! There are very visible lines on each side where the gold was added. Normally it is seamless. The thinness that was left is what caused it to bend so easily. It’s been a year now of not being able to wear my ring with out being terrified that the gold would snap. I will say the sales person, Robert, was very kind to us. It is the jeweler that I’m upset with. Very poor work. Especially for something that means so much. It’s so hard to get a decent picture. The first photo shows the bend. The second photos show the thinness closer to the setting. I’ve had other rings done and they didn’t look like this! You will see the weakness in the last photo compared to one I had done at a different jeweler. I’ve also noticed Schwarzchild only responds to positive reviews. It would be nice to have someone remedy the situation. Instead of only reacting to the positive. This is the Short Pump location....
