Harbor Freight — Local services in Show Low

We had a very poor experience yesterday at Harbor Freight!!!! The representative Tom was extremely rude and unprofessional!!!!!! Horrible. My husban and I were told to go to isle 8 to find a carport. When we could not find it we walked behind an open area and were continuing to look. My husband found Tom and asked Can you help find a tarp? Tom proceeds to get belligerent and rude saying that we are not sopposed to be back here that we are just wandering aimlessly and refused - yes, refused to help us!! Some other guy walks up from behind and threatened me to get my husband out before he called the police while Tom says he is the manager and won’t let us talk to anyone else!!! Well we are about to leave the store when the REAL manager walks up. We told him what happened and he appologized, but the apology should have come from the employee Tom! We called the DM and the office is supposed to call us back, but they said we have had problems with the Show Low, AZ store in the past!! NEVER again will we shop here!!! And it’s ashame because we own a retail store (auto parts) and we used to recommend Harbor Freight. My husband and I recently bought a cement mixer at a great price! the associates were very helpful, expect the cashier, she acted like she was just done with everyone forever but I work in customer service so i understand. They do charge a 20% restocking fee which I feel is a little excessive for a regular stocked item, it wasnt a special order. The cement mixer itself had extremely vague instructions and was missing half of the nuts and bolts, I called the number on the instruction manual for missing pieces. They stated they could send out missing parts except nuts and bolts, they cant do those. You would think that would be the number one thing people call about but whatever. The store and...

I guess I’ve been okey-doke again. I did your online survey and paid the shipping on 170 piece tool set and I have yet to receive it and that’s been three weeks ago and it said it would be shipped within 5 to 7 days so I guess I’ve been okey-doke again, they’ve already taken the money out my bank for the shipping so I guess this will be the last time I ever do an online survey for anybody ever again let alone Harbor freight is going to lose my business and if I have anything to say to any of my family and friends I will make sure that they don’t deal with HarborFreight ever...
