I had a very bad experience at this store somewhere between April 26 and May 1,2025. On April 10,2025 , purchased a Gibson and Latimer top along with another top and a pair of jeans. When I got home, I took the Vince Camuto blouse and the Gibson and Latimer jeans out of the bag and I left the Gibson and Latimer top in the bag. I bought it to wear it to my daughter and son in law’s house warming . The day of the house warming , April 26,2025, I took it out of the bag and I cut the tag off so that I could iron it. When I got ready to put it on the ironing board, I noticed a light spot on the neck and I thought it might be makeup, so I said ok it’s very light, so I’ll wear it anyway; but when I put the top on the ironing board and picked up the iron to iron it, that’s when I noticed two small faint spots ( that appeared to be red) on the bottom of it. I then turned it over and there were a few spots on the back as well, so I said I can’t wear this top; I will take it back to the store and get my money. I did not wear the top; I ended up wearing something else. I took it back to the store somewhere between April 28 and May1, 2025 as I stated before. The sales clerk was very nice; she told that the store policy was not to accept merchandise back if the tag had been removed; but I told her that I always remove my tags before ironing the merchandise and that I didn’t see the spots prior to removing the tags. The sales clerk said she could call her manager and she did call her. I don’t remember if she or her manager told me to go and see if they had my size and one of them asked if I just wanted to exchange it for another one and I asked them if they would put it back on my card and give it to me for the sale price. I found the exact same top at a lower price; but when I got back to the register, the manager of that department said they couldn’t take it back. She said that it smelled of heavy detergent. She accused me of wearing and washing it. I told her that I had not worn nor washed it; but she insisted that I had worn it and washed it. So, I said to her that she was calling me a lie and she kept saying no, I’m not calling you a lie; I told her that she was calling me a lie because I had not worn nor washed the top. She then asked me if I wanted her to call the store manager and I told her yes. Mr. Christopher Addison came and he basically said the same thing. He kept saying that I had washed and worn the top and they couldn’t take it back and that I didn’t bring it back in the same condition that I took it out of the store. So I told him so you’re calling me a liar too. I have never so humiliated in my entire life. The manager of that department said, let me put your top in a new bag; I told her that was ok; a new bag is not going to get the spots of the top and there were two security guards right across from us; I don’t know if they called them for me; but I told them if they were there because of me that I was not a rowdy person. I did tell the store manager that it would be stupid to iron something with the tags on it. I don’t have any small children and this top came out of Dillard’s store like this; I wear glasses and I didn’t see those spots until I got ready to iron it. Had I seen it before I cut the tags off, I never would have cut the tags off. I got a first hand of how Dillard’s treat their faithful customers. I have since reached out to the district manager and she basically said the same thing and that they couldn’t take it back because I took the tags off!!! Had I saw the spots before I cut the tags off, I wouldn’t have cut the tags off. Dillard’s you should have an exception to your policy in certain situations!!! I have reached out to the regional manager via email; but she has not responded!!! I reached out to her about two weeks ago. Ms. Jill Nicholson and Dillard’s; you all have put a bad taste in my mouth and if this is the way you treat your loyal customers; I don’t want any...
Read moreMy experience at this story 07/22/2023 was terrible. My wife and I decided to make a detour Saturday by Dillards. I have carelessly dropping her sunglasses, so I decided to take her to get new ones before dinner. We made our way over to the sunglasses area to pick some shades. As we walk around two different booths, we notice several group of employees huddle up. We waited standing hoping someone would acknowledge us. Instead they made eye contact but never approached us. Two other employees were engaged in a conversation that was very inappropriate. After about 30 min of not getting service my wife and I were very upset and turned off. We saw several sunshades we were interested in but the service completely turn this off. As we made a jester showing frustration and decided to leave. A young lady by the name Lena chased us down and started to apologetically apologize for what she had witnessed. I was so frustrated. I did not even want the apology and wanted to leave out of the store. Lena was not willing to give up and continue to win me over. Lena explained that it was not her department and she did not want to overstep her boundaries. I allowed her to assist my wife and I. Lena did amazing job making my wife feel comfortable about her selection and showing her the difference in the new style sunglasses. I want to say thank you Lena for your hard work and dedication. 07/25/2023 I arrive back to the store to speak to the store manager. I wanted to share my experience with him and my concerns of the lack of customer involvement. I will say as a leader of the store the store manager was very nonchalant about the matter, sweeping it up all of the rug as if he did not care. This shows poor leader ship and explains why the lack of customer service exist. We need more...
Read moreSo I have had mostly great experiences at this store with great employees. I love Dillards, I love the quality of the clothes and the variety. This store isn’t as good as the Bossier location with customer service or layout of the store. Great jewelry staff and the junior section ALWAYS HAS GREAT STAFF! But for example, a couple of Christmases ago my child wanted to purchase her BF cologne for his present. I knew it was high but I wanted her to see for herself since she was spending her own money. The lady at the station judged us by our clothing and was down right rude to us. She told her that they didn’t have cheap options (which guess what they do have some cheaper options than others) showed her one option and basically brushed her off after that. It was down right insulting! But I didn’t let it stop me from coming back I just won’t put up with rudeness from anyone anymore! We are just as important as any...
