My wife, two puppies and myself rented the Blue Lagoon bungalow from Rich and Ali of Siesta Bungalows for 6 months while relocating. From the moment of first contact, through to vacating we had the most wonderful experience.

This absolutely fully furnished property is a true gem. Minutes walk or cycle to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world and the vibrant village of Siesta Key.

Palm Island, where the property is found, is like stepping back in time. A wonderful friendly and beautiful neighborhood.

The property is exceptionally decorated, immaculately clean and well furnished. We needed only turn up with our clothes, everything else was catered for.

I cannot recommend Siesta Bungalows enough and will happily direct any visiting family or friends their way.

Rich and Ali are two of the most warm & friendly people we have met. Unbelievably welcoming and accommodating, who we now regard as close friends.

From Palm Island, after vacating, we relocated just down the road, they welcomed us into the community, introduced us to their lovely friends and also us to their wealth of local contacts to assist in the updating of our new home.

I was lucky enough to stay in Garden Terrace in April 2023 and cannot express enough how great my experience was. The bungalow was charming, private, and central to everything. Safety was a top priority for me, so the bungalow’s being location on quiet and friendly Palm Island was perfect. It is an ideal place for working remotely and relaxation.

The bungalow itself has a beautiful terrace and backyard area, cozy living space, and a small but well-equipped kitchen. Most importantly, it was clean! Everything I needed.

The owners, Rich and Ali Light, were helpful from the very moment I was interested in renting their bungalow till the moment I left. They are just around the corner if you need anything and were always more than happy to help.

I've been coming to stay at Siesta Bungalows for more than 10 years now so I obviously like it. More like love it. It's the highlight of every year. The bungalows are cozy and conveniently located about a five minute walk to the beach. The greater Sarasota area is loaded with fun things to do besides the beach: live theater events, independent film theaters, Botanical gardens, lots of affordable golf courses, dedicated bike trails, great shopping, open market places, the list goes on. Best of all is after a busy fun day, you get to come home to your bungalow nestled in a nice quiet neighborhood off the beaten path...
