Siesta Key Snorkel — Local services in Siesta Key

We had a terrible experience with this company. We booked a private charter snorkel trip in March for our vacation in June. All the while, we are getting email messages, reminding us of our upcoming trip. When we got there to check in, a gentleman, called the owner, Matt, because there was no boat available. I spoke with the owner and he said it was his mistake, that he had been traveling the day we booked the trip in March and didn’t see it. He then asked if we would be able to come back the next day, but we could not because we were leaving to go home that day. He then said he would call me back and check to see if he could get a captain to take a boat and take us out. We waited. I had already applied all of our sunscreen, like they directed us to do ahead of time, had our three kids super excited about going on this trip only to be texted …not called…by the owner stating that he really apologizes for the inconvenience and would refund us. So, when I tried to call him and ask him if there’s any possibility for a later charter, he did not pick up and did not have a voicemail set up. In my opinion, this is a terrible way to do business, a major disappointment from a customer’s perspective. This says a lot about how he does business. For any potential customers, I would think twice before you book with them. Overall, our vacation ended on sort of a sour note but again Matt (the owner) couldn’t have cared less. One of the main things my son wanted to do on our vacation here in Siesta Key, was to go snorkeling. Couldn’t have picked a better group to go with! Our Captain Adam and first mate Tanner were great. My son and I had such a great time! Adam and Tanner first took us to Point of Rocks where we explored coral and found fish, and next to a sweet, and relaxing sand bar. Tanner was an exceptional guide, pointing different fish, shells, and formations out. He made the entire group feel comfortable in the water, and helped to make this a great overall experience and highlight of our trip! Thanks again to Adam and Tanner, I would highly recommend this company to anyone in this area...

Today snorkeling with with captain Christian, and first mate, Johnny was the best day of our vacation! If you’re looking for a great time on a boat and an experience you’ll enjoy this is the place to book with! We were lodging in St. Pete about an hour away, not a bad travel at all. Easy parking, easy locating the boat, cooler filled with ice, great guides, water was a little murky but still worth every penny!
