CURLY CREAM Hand Rolled Icecream — Restaurant in Florida

Hand rolled ice cream was pretty good, the rest of the experience was bad. Atmosphere is very unpleasant. Stuff everywhere, unclean & very unorganized. Owner was grumpy, intimidating and not inviting at all. Clearly not interested in customer service or anything else except for money. Ordered 3 scoups of ice cream and every single one was TERRIBLY frostbitten. It was aweful! Tasted like it came from some old freezer. Any grocery store ice cream would've been 10000times better. Mentioned it to the owner & suggest he take a look at his product as you can even see through the glass the piles of ice growing on the ice cream. Also it was obvious all the tubs melted at one point & been re-frozen. (You know what the does to the cream) Anyway, owner said that it's just how it is. They normally use frostbitten ice cream for shakes. 😬🤯

Don’t even try! The old man behind the counter was incredibly rude and went so far as to cuss us out in front of our six year old. He has two signs that both say hand-rolled ice cream but apparently one list is actually scoop ice cream (??) which he does not want to serve you.

I tried to order two scoops of scoop ice cream (that I saw in the giant tubs) and he yelled at me that they were not rolled ice cream. He yelled. So, I tried to order something different. He yelled. He cursed. He mocked us and said “Go smoke your funny stuff” referring to the bag we had from the CBD store next door with muscle rub in it.

Finally, we left and so did the couple behind us. He continued to shout at us on our way out the door. As locals, we went back to our favorite ice cream spot down the road. I cannot image walking in on vacation and having your evening ruined by this man who clearly should not be in customer service, let alone a business where children frequent. Try literally anywhere...

Im a tourist who works in the fast food industry, this place… does not look up to code. I walked in there with my mom and friend, the man didn’t not acknowledge us at ALL. No smile, no hello, nothing. I ordered a rolled ice cream, the man walked over to a standing fridge, pulled out a small cup of what I assume is cream, inspected it, swirled it, SNIFFED IT, and brought it to where he would roll the ice cream. He didn’t mix the cream and the flavor syrup very thoroughly, so when I received it, THERE WERE CURDS IN THE ICE CREAM.
