Signal Swirl — Local services in Signal Mountain

Friendly owner, not so much the rest of the staff. Very harsh lighting with bright white walls, gave me an instant headache. Not great ambiance, no music, just awkward hushed talking. Don't see this as a fun play to hang out, more of a grab it and go. I guess you could sit outside if you use the restaurant next doors outdoor seating. Deffo could use some big fun colorful pictures on the walls, or local art for sale gallery style to soften the light and dampen the echo chamber effect. Can't comment on the fro-yo as there weren't any dairy free options at that point, but my kiddo enjoyed his. We were exploring Signal Mountain while visiting family in Chattanooga. Although only open for a month, Signal Swirl was on the map on my phone. We visited about 30 minutes before closing, and were welcomed by the friendly staff. The two of us enjoyed separate combos of the 8 frozen yogurt flavors. There are many toppings available such as cherries and sprinkles. Everything was spotlessly clean and there is a roomy layout. While there, the manager suggested we visit Signal Point Park, about 2.5 miles away and close to our route back down the mountain - - we had a nice twilight view of the Tennessee River. Thank you...

I really wanted to like this place but when we spent $10 for a small cup of yogurt (that just tasted like sugar, no cream) with no toppings we decided that was our charity event for the week. We think they should have two flavors an evening rather than six. Up the quality of the yogurt, offer less toppings, and have literally a takeout window and do a much better business.
