McCoy Farm & Gardens is such a hidden gem! I had the joy of photographing a rehearsal dinner here, and it was the perfect setting—peaceful, charming, and full of character. The grounds are beautifully kept, with lush greenery and a timeless Southern feel that creates such a warm, welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Every corner feels intentional, whether you’re gathering under the trees, strolling the gardens, or celebrating in the historic spaces. We enjoy these trails year round because the trees and gardens change with the seasons. Its always pleasant here. The trails are easy. The people we encounter are friendly. If you're out to get a great outdoor work out, this is not the place, but if you never visit you will miss so much. The trees are amazing. Some trees have leaves bigger than a person's hand. So many different species and many are well marked with their info. Very interesting. We've seen a hawk we believe is a resident, and there are several types of small birds busying about. The garden is maintained by volunteers i believe, and they obviously put love in to it. Pleasant journey through a small forest. Great place for walking meditations. I'm pretty sure dogs are allowed but please do clean up if your walking buddy has to make a pit...

What a local gem this farm is! We are in town from Florida but have traveled here for years and never discovered McCoy Farms. It’s absolutely gorgeous, well maintained and manicured. It’s a kid and pups dream come true! Lots of pollinators everywhere and the flowers and trees are well marked and easy to photograph. Young families had picnic lunches on the grounds, others walked their dogs and some just sat in the grass observing nature. I’ve wanted to go back every day! We have been 3 times!
