The sandwiches are good and the bread is great. It's local and as such; is part of the community. The employees are nice, and they take the time to get to know people. For example, the lady making my sandwich asked about my daughter who is normally with me. I've never had a bad sandwich there, and it's very clean. I don't recommend going there if you are in a hurry because they make one sandwich at a time, and there are always other people in there too. This place is pretty much just like a generic Subway with more limited bread and toppings choices. Not bad at all and great service but way overrated. I've found that many places on Signal Mountain are overrated and overpriced probably because there is not much up there to choose from. Puckets grocery store is another example. Food is always fresh, staff is always the friendliest in the world, and the owners (Russ and Sara) are two of the nicest people you'll ever meet. They bend over backwards to tend to your needs. I've been eating here since the place opened, often two or three times a week. Great variety, and I love their chili! Far better than Subway, but don't get me wrong, I like Subway too. I just like 517 better....
