To the complainers about the line. There's 2 cashiers. Lunch time most people with nothing in their hands need help at the front - blue plate or counter salads. Look. There are often 4 workers running and if someone has a single item doesnt need counter help. While the counter display has 2 workers in it and a register open. Dont complain about your line status. Be grateful the person didn't load up on 3 dinners worth and cut the line while getting blue plate. You still were going to wait while they got...

Discovered this gem today! Had the Blue Plate fried chicken meal. Breading on the chicken was tasty and the chicken was juicy. For sides we had black eyed pea salad, blt pasta salad, and potato salad. All of them were delicious. Took a piece of the Texas white cake to go. It was excellent too. Really unique concept with the Blue Plate special every day and all the takeaway meals. If we lived nearby, I would be stopping to pick up dinner on a regular basis....

Great food great food great food. Oh my goodness great food. I had three different dishes and took almond with poppy seed bread to go. It was outstanding as well. I could not recommend this joint more highly. The service is wonderful and all of the personnel are very accommodating. It seems to be their solitary job to make your experience wonderful there. I'm going back again next week and I'm already salivating just...
