OH WOW! is RIGHT!!

I can’t even begin to explain my OH WOW-level excitement that a real-deal donut shop has opened right here on Signal Mountain! Chattanooga has long been a donut desert compared to other cities—until now, our only consistent option was Dunkin’, and while that’s fine in a pinch, it doesn’t scratch the itch for legit, fresh-made donuts. And yes, I know people love Julie Darling, but let’s be honest: that’s more of a boutique dessert stop. OH WOW! DONUTS is the real thing—a true donut shop with a full spread of yeast-based donuts, not just fancy cake ones.

I ordered a dozen of their variety donuts, and everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully made. The glazed donut was classic and delicious, and my kids went nuts for the chocolate sprinkled ones. I also tried their croissant sausage and egg sandwich and one of their pigs-in-a-blanket (they don’t call them Kolaches, but we all know what it is!). Both were super satisfying and clearly made with care.

They’ve also got a solid lineup of coffee beverages, which I didn’t try this time—but based on everything else, I’m confident they’re great too. My kids were happy, I was happy, and honestly it just feels so good to have this kind of spot in our community.

Been here several times and the food is good. That's why I tried to stop by today at 1:30 to get donuts for family who are in town to try, knowing full well that they advertise being open until 2pm. Unfortunately, the door was already locked with 4 or 5 teenagers inside cleaning up. I guess its like they say, "when the cat is away, the mice play". The kids in there working seem to have been left on their own today and decided to give themselves an early exit. We hustled back up the mountain to get there in plenty of time and got nothing more than a "Sorry, we decided to close early. Come back tomorrow, we open at 7AM". They could have easily sold us the to go items we came for and made an extra $50 plus tip but they chose the lazy way out. Come back tomorrow morning? Nah...I am good if that's the way you treat your loyal customers. Change your hours if you aren't going to serve me when I show up 30 minutes before...

The donuts are very good. The staff is friendly. There was a slice of cheesecake on top of my donut. There was a rainbow candy on top of rainbow sprinkles on my wife's donut.
