We needed to be down in Wilkesboro for an appointment and asked the nice Folks at the local public library what the best thrift store was. This one was recommended to us because it was not only a good thrift store but because all of the proceeds go to the local children's Christian home. This place is priced way lower than your local Goodwill. The top portion has tons of clothing in all sizes. Many many kids clothes and even Halloween costumes (we got several to stock up our home costume box). We found all shoes and clothing that we needed. The basement is full of all other non-clothing items. We bought an entire set of children's Bible books, and we found some great puppets in the toy room. We really enjoyed ourselves, though it was a little difficult with a toddler as there's no alternative to the stairs so our stroller wouldn't go down there.
