***BUYERS BEWARE*** I'm not really sure who needs to see this, but I had the absolute saddest experience this morning at Crossroads Grill. I arrived at the drive thru at approximately 6:30am this morning. I was a passenger in a vehicle and after ordering our food I decided to get out and smoke a cigarette and get a book out of the classified section due to the long line. I then returned to the vehicle in which I arrived. I saw the lady at the window pointing at me while speaking I thought that was odd, but didn't think much of it. A few minutes later I was approached by a uniformed officer saying that the employee had reported to him that I was trespassing. I was shocked and appalled and assured the officer that I had just ordered food from the drive thru and that I hadn't trespassed on the property ever. The officer told me that I fit the description of a women who had been trespassing and that I would have to leave the property before other officers were called to the scene. I pleaded with him that it hadn't been me and that I had just ordered food and had just got out to smoke a cigarette. When I got to the window to pay for my food I asked the white lady (I think she said her name was Becky supposedly she was the manager) what she was talking about? She said I looked like the lady and that the lady wore a purple bonnet just like the one I had on, except mine was pink. She laughted it off and said but oh I was lighter, slimmer, younger, and my bonnet was pink instead of purple. I didn't see anything funny about the situation at all. Being approached by the sheriff and being told I matched the description of a person committing criminal acts and being told I had to vacate the property before I got in trouble when I did absolutely nothing wrong, but come to support the business and obtain breakfast like the rest of the paying patrons. Many Black Americans wear bonnets that's not enough to go off of when getting officers involved. Especially, with the increase of police violence against African American men and women. This could have ended really bad, for me of course. I just think this is really sad and unfortunate and I don't quite know how to feel right now. Obviously, I'm extremely bothered by this occurrence. This is the first time I've been profiled in my life. And it all boiled down to me being black, a women, and wearing a bonnet. People need to do better. I can't imagine anyone who wouldn't have felt violated in this situation. And I still paid for my food. Been coming here for years. Just sad!

Worst service ever! Asked for some extra sugar and cream and they refused, even tho I bought two large coffees, they just gave me 4 sugars and 3 creamers, plus also I almost paid 20 dollars for 2 sandwiches combo, tots were burned out, so I asked for a refund because I like my coffee with extra sugar, they also refused, because according to the cashier, my order was already made, but it wasn't and I had to wait 10 extra minutes, I paid an extra dollar for cream and sugar, I had see a lot people likes this place, but for my wallet's sake I'm never coming back again. Ps. I asked for 15 creams and 15 sugars, I know it sounds like a big amount, but to be honest this is the first place ever to deny my request, I even asked for at least some packets of cream and sugar me but still they refused and they said they couldn't give me any amount, so I offered to pay extra, if you go to any cafeteria they usually have a sugar and cream dispenser, I suggest you to post a sign to let customers know that if they are going to buy a coffee, they'll only get up to 4 sugars and 3 creamers and if they want more they'll be charge for it. There is no excuse. I Hope next time you guide yourself by this rule: customer is always right.

We love finding new, smaller diners to eat at. Our travels took us through Siler City, NC a week ago where we had the pleasure of finding the Crossroads Grill. They serve classic diner food - burgers, fries, dogs, etc. Their burgers were awesome, my wife's BLT was amazing - but the onion rings were incredible. Service at the window, where one orders your food,, was very friendly. We had a great conversation with the lady at the window (if she reads this, we're the people from Minnesota!) who took great care of us. Their drive-thru is very popular but to use it was best dining at a picnic table in the tent. It gives you a sense of dining inside along with a feel of eating outside at the same time. It's better than a car anytime. If you're like us, people who travel a lot and use Google Maps to find those fun and interesting places to eat, Crossroads Grill is your next must-stop diner. You won't be sorry, we promise.

The only reason I have 1 star was because there’s no ability to leave 0. I went into Crossroads about 2 months ago for the first time as a Siler City resident. During my stay I was pushed and shoved by the owner for attempting to deescalate a a situation involving SIX white men ganging up on ONE black man. Not only do I think all those six men are cowards, it was clear they were waiting for any reason to attack, then DID, beating his head into a brick wall. I am still unsure if that young man is okay. There aren’t many options in town for food, but I would rather spend my money anywhere else. Not only was this attack unnecessary, the situation could have been handled without aggression. It was very clear the owner of this restaurant wanted no part in a calm conversation or deescalation of the situation, and instead wanted to puff his chest out with his other proud boy buddies. The owner and manager attempted to tell us everything was “fine” and that our food would “be right up” as if they were entirely unbothered after the fact. Extremely disappointed in my experience here, I will never be back or recommend this...
