If I could put a zero I would. I took my mother there. It was her first manicure and pedicure since being in the hospital. She is still recovering. It was a Monday afternoon. The place was not busy at all. In fact, there was one customer who was leaving as we were there and there were five technicians sitting over in the pedicure chairs playing on phones.
My mother is still recovering. She cannot hear well. I was sitting in a chair beside her. The The male technician who was doing her pedicure, had on a mask. I looked away for a moment, and as I look back, he was hugging hard on my mother’s right arm. Very angrily and impatiently, he was saying something through his mask and pulling on her arm. I stood up and moved him away from her. It seemed to me that he was wanting to move her very quickly to one of the Chairs to do her nails. However, there shouldn’t have been any rush there. Without saying too much, because I did not want to upset my mother, I told him to leave her alone. I walked back to get her shoes and when I got back to the chair, he was pulling on her hands, going “hand, hand hand! I gently helped her get her hands because she didn’t understand what was going on. She could not hear him. I suppose the Owner realize there was some issue and came upfront. She immediately Started supporting the technician, claiming that he didn’t understand English. And I said that he didn’t have to understand English Was tugging on my mother, and he was the one who was speaking my mother had not said a word. I found this completely unacceptable and disingenuous. The owner brought over another technician who finished my mother’s Manicure. But the owner also turned to my mother And asked her age. My sweetest southern boys I reminded the owner that you never ask a lady her age. The Owner told me that she had several “elderly” That needed to be helped along like the technician had done. I don’t think anybody needs to be helped that way. You have a choice. Choose...
Read more133.00 for two child pedicures, 1 full acrylic set with gel polish and eyebrow wax for one person was 133.00 that is insane. I went to the salon down the road about 2 weeks ago and got a full acrylic set with gel polish same shape for 30$ is this normal? I came here today and I was just shocked. I took myself, and my 3 daughters(13,11,3) anyway the girls got pedicures with French tip just painted no actual tip. I got a full acrylic set with gel polish which by the way look like trash. Some of them are not straight at the top of the coffin shape nor are they smooth. Some of them are bumpy, and the pinky nail on the left hand is way to small for my nail. They just look horrible.the guy there kept sanding my cuticle down after I told him it was hurting and some of them were bleeding. They didn’t cut my cuticles down or anything just sanded them lightly buffed them and the. Gel on them. Then after I let them dry in the UV lamp they still had some shiny parts on them they were supposed to be Mayte I told the guy and he acted like he got upset I was just shocked. Then to top it off the girls who were doing my daughters feet one of which is a type 1 diabetic 11 ye old she did good with her feet but my daughter who is 13 the lady just seemed to be looking at her talking their language and laughing at her. She felt very uncomfortable, we are a bilingual household but we would never make fun of someone who has never done something before. Then to top it off they charged me $133.00 For two child’s pedicures, one full acrylic set with gel polish and eyebrow wax...
Read moreHeard this place had new owners so thought I would try it out. The first time I came I told the lady I had on s&s but she ignored it and used the electric filer instead. It wasn’t until she cracked my nail that she realized it was s&s and then told me to soak my nails. I got acrylic nails this go round and she put the acrylic on so thin that it cracked the next day. When I came back the owner told me not to work so hard with my nails on after I told her that I hadn’t worked with the nails on yet and that it was the ladies fault that did my nails. The acrylic was put on extremely thin. This was a family member of hers who did my nails so she wasn’t trying to hear me out, but it’s whatever. This time I came in to sit with my daughter while she got her nails and feet done and I can tell she remembered me from the last time because she spoke to everyone that walked in except me. I had to use the bathroom after waiting on my daughter for so long and she was cleaning it, which I didn’t know. I’m not sure why someone would clean their bathroom only after them being open for an hour and a half and no one had used it yet 🤔. It should have already been cleaned. Why wait till you have so many customers to start cleaning and mopping floors. Anyways very rude she stated “I’m cleaning it right now” 35 minutes go by and I look up and she’s doing someones pedicure. Didn’t say anything about she was done or the floor was dry and I can go use the bathroom now. This salon definitely have there...
