Waffle House — Restaurant in Siler City

My daughter and I came in around midnight on our way home from out of town. We were asked our drink order and food order within a few minutes. (Only one other person in restaurant). The cook started our food then got back in her phone. She didn’t pay any attention to our food and overcooked our food to the point it was hard to eat. Our food sat on the counter for 8 minutes before the waitress brought it to our table. Again, only one other person in restaurant. I asked for extra butter (trying to make my waffle a little softer since it was overcooked) and the waitress went back to her conversation then brought me the butter about 10 minutes later. Our drinks were never refilled. We were never acknowledged by our waitress again. A nice young man also working did come over and ask if we needed anything. The food is great! But the service.....the employees don't even acknowledge you when you walk in the door. I order from here almost every morning, but I'm really considering taking my business elsewhere. On more than one occassion I've stood at the counter for far too long waiting to pay for my to-go order, (Which is sitting, getting cold) the waitresses don't even look my way, she even held an entire conversation with the couple beside me, but still Betty not once asked could she assist me. It wasn't until another guess came to the counter to pay, then, I was acknowledged. Again, this has happened more than once, especially with the crew there this morning. We went to waffle House to just eat something at night, we walked in and it was around semi full but we had to wait at least 16 minutes just to get service despite being right within the servers reach, only for a lady to come and finally take our order and just put the bill on the table after we ordered which has never happened to us in any other waffle House and after we got our food, nobody came to check on us if we needed anything. I genuinely Don't know if it was because me and my mom are Mexican and it was something racist for us to be served last but never coming here.
