We live in Georgia but pass through NC frequently. One of our favorite places to stop is Biscuitville. Our usual go-to is the Thomasville location but today, we took a different route and decided to try the location in Siler City. If you’ve read my previous reviews of places we’ve been, you’ll see that I hate leaving negative reviews. But the Siler City location kinda earned it. This adventure started with the drive thru person continually repeating back the wrong order. They were articulate, clear speaking, as are we, but it took longer to make them understand what we were ordering than it did to actually get the food. I got the steak and cheese on an English muffin, which somehow always turns out beautifully at the Thomasville location. This location gave me what equated to the texture I’d imagine a scotch brite scrubbing pad would have. You could break a tooth on that stale breading and my jaw got a workout trying to chew the dry, spongy meat. Maybe I should have just taken what the clerk kept correcting my order to. Upside, it wasn’t greasy. At all. There is probably more moisture in the Sahara Desert than there was in that sandwich. My husband ordered their new item, the smoked sausage with peppers and onions. You might have found less grease at a Jiffy Lube than this item had inside the wrapper. I’ve resigned myself to the fact that after this six hour drive, I’m going to have do laundry tonight to fight the oil stains that leached through the wrapper and onto his shirt and pants. Positives: Hashbrowns were good. Coffee was good. Dogs loved the doggy biscuit. Also, the cashier couldn’t figure out the name for the order, which was Tommy. Instead, he got creative and we had a great laugh when we saw the receipt. Overall, I think we’ll stick to the Thomasville location...
Read moreI can only think of 1 time I came to get pancakes and they were fresh. I never write reviews but this place is too new to the area to not care already. We don't have many options in siler city so please do better. I always check my pancakes when I am in drive thru because when they 1st opened I thought it was just honest mistakes everyone was learning etc. But someone picked these up and put them in the container they know for sure they wouldn't eat them. the corners was so hard. When I showed the guy at drive thru he said we have fresh ones down pull up and someone would bring them out. No apologies no wait time luckly id just got off work so i wasnt in a hurry. I would usually pull out and pull into McDonald's. But I decided to check this time because I don't want to waste money. Just last week I was there got home to find a hair in my biscuit. I drove back and the lady remade the whole order and offered me 2 coupons for sweets. She asked if I wrote a review I said no. She said it was the 2nd complaint of the day about hair in the biscuit. It's time to train and hold these people...
Read moreWe stopped to get breakfast via drive thru and the guy took our order, wonderful. I believe he was training. By the time we got to the window they were trying to figure something out and stood there and talked about the new guys number or something to get him set up at the first window. That should’ve been done prior to opening up for customers. Fast food, not a Sunday get together. People have places to be. Then they didn’t give me a fork or spoon for my grits. So we had to turn around. So we got there and went back through the drive thru and asked the woman for a fork and she got smart mouth and said “you need a spoon?” I wasn’t going to sit there and argue with her about spoon v fork. They both serve the same purpose. A fork would’ve been fine.. preferred, actually. Anyway. Got the spoon. Started on our way. About 20 minutes later, se realized they gave us the wrong biscuit. We got a sausage biscuit instead of the bologna biscuit my husband asked for but it was correct on the receipt.
Just a whole lot of attitude and lazy first thing in...
