See's Candies — Local services in Simi Valley

What can I say? It's See's candy... You walk in and all you see is delicious chocolate bons bons.... And of course other candies.... Yes I drool when I think about the chocolatey deliciousness at See's.

As soon as the hubby and I walked in we were greeted right away and even better, we were greeted with strawberry white chocolate bon bons... I'll take that kind of greeting over a regular "hi" any day! Lol the bon bons were a little too sweet for me as I like dark chocolate and I prefer salty and sweet to just sweet.

And I can tell ya that whatever flavor you like you'll find it there.

As like any See's it's basically a white interior with black trimming which lets the candy inside pop more. The older woman was helping me and the hubby while the other younger gentleman was stocking things (or at least that's what it looked like to me).

I didn't catch her name but she was great at answering questions and offering samples of the items that we were interested in. She let me taste the dark chocolate butterchew and if you are a caramel nut like me... Try this and GET this. It was so freaking yummy!! The caramel was perfect! It had a great chew and the caramel did not stick to your teeth!! Perfect consistency! Yes... I ended up getting some... Lol

The hubby tasted the peanut butter disc covered in milk chocolate and yup he was sold. He got some too. :)

She was a great salesperson and did a great job on selling us the bulk chocolate bon bons. Everything was clean and well organized and well stocked.

If I lived near here I would probably be back more often to...

The chocolates are just as good as any other locations, but the customer service is not the best or even good at all. We walked in on Valentines Day to am empty store and were not greated, we were ignored for quite some time I stood there confused wondering what was going on as the older man just stood there and the two younger girls talked to each other amd laughed with each other as if we weren't there waiting to place a chocolate order. Then another lady came after me to buy pre-packaged items and she just wanted someone to ring her up she stood there for a long time as well wondering what was happening until she finally asked if someone would help her check out. They need to step up their customer service here. It's bad in these times when so many people have lost their jobs im sure there's someone out there who would want their job and be happy to be there. Now I know why it was so empty on Valentines Day. That should have been...

Long established See's candy store. Went there on Valentine's day. Long lines, but everyone patient. 3 ladies helping with special boxed orders and 1 cashier for off the shelf sales. Smaller shop in a shopping center by Cochran and Sycamore St. Adequate parking, available.
