OMG! They are outstanding. I can’t believe how fair their prices are for renting storage space. Honestly $500 less than the people at the other end of the street and past the light. Their competition Extra Storage cheatiedme. I paid for climate controlled and I ended up with 5 truck filled dump loads because my personal belongings were molded and mildewed. That is not supposed to happen if the owner is actually controlling the heat and cold. Please come to this place. Rachel is the best person to talk to in the office and she is very bright, fair , knowledgeable and just a wonderful person to talk to. The place is extremely clean and I don’t have any complaints whatsoever. I wish I had gone here before instead of wasting so much money a month to store all my items while I was out of the state. And then to find all my personal belongings in the state they were in when I got back and had to pay to throw so much of them away. I actually am renting 2 storage units right now from these awesome people and it is still $200 less per month than I paid for one at that Extra place. I thank Rachel in the office for being so wonderful and she will find everyone a better deal than anything else in the area. This place also has 2 locations so they are extra convenient!! I typically don’t do online reviews, but when I come across exceptional customer service, I can’t remain silent. These days it seems increasingly difficult to find people in the service industry willing to take an extra step to help a customer. Gabriella is the exception!

My brother and I recently lost our father and needed a place to store his belongings until we could get together to go through everything. I live out of state while my brother is local. Gabriella and I spoke on the phone and she provided all the information I needed to realize Storage Rentals of America in Simsbury, CT would be the right place for us. We found a convenient time for her to meet with my brother so he could see the unit. He described it as “Secure and very clean”. We both felt very comfortable in renting a climate-controlled unit.

They continue to raise rates on us, we first got our unit with Cube Smart. They raised our rate back in April and we just got another letter of a rate change. We are paying 60$ more a month than we signed up for! We no longer need our units and we’re told back in June we could close out before the month end and it would be pro rated and once we gave them notice we wanted out we would have 24 hours. We tried to get out of our month early and told we would need to pay for the whole month. They can prorate for the days when you open the unit but can’t do it when you close?? This is extremely frustrating as I don’t need my units after July 31st. We asked if we could close one unit and change the billing cycle on the other and was still told no. I would avoid using them at all costs unless you like your rates changed every 3 months and enjoyed...
