GameStop — Local services in Sioux City

I had an awful pick up experience at the store. I got to there at 11a, and as I was walking to the door, an employee rushed by me, let herself in & then locked the door behind her. I looked at the time and saw it was passed 11a. I knocked on the door and the manager guy just stood behind the counter and looked at me.

I called the store and he ignored it. He then walked to the front and started slowly opening the shades and the turned on the signs, but still didn’t unlock the door. After standing there for almost five minutes, still knocking, he finally unlocked the door. I asked why he or the other girl didn’t unlock the door at 11a when they opened. He shot me a death glare and started mumbling under his breath as he walked away from me.

I went to the counter and said I was there for a pick up. He ignored me and told me to let him know if I needed help. I reiterated that I had a pick up order.

He was very rude and handed me the item and without a bag. I asked for one because it was raining/snowing and he refused, saying that they were out. When I pointed out that it was raining and the item was a plush toy, he rolled his eyes and magically found a bag to...

Was nice at first but kept on trying to add extra charges which was fine up until we asked if we could get the disc copy pre-ordered of a game and when he told us it wouldn’t be compatible with our console he told us we could get an x box series s and it would work so we did come to find out series s is only a digital console which is fine but we specifically asked for disc many times so the fact that he let us walk out with a new console and a pre-order of a game without telling us a disc wouldn’t work is very unprofessional. After reading more reviews and knowing that this experience happened with Brent as well as most other bad reviews here I agree with the fire Brent statement because he’s just bringing down the value of this store. I thought the staff was helpful. Wanted a game not in stock and was unfamiliar where the other store was and was told it could be delivered in a few days to my home. I ordered and paid Jan 2nd. Today is 11th and I get an email saying it's at post office. I call post office, staff did not put my apartment number in the address. I've emailed game stop twice wondering when this would arrive. 10 days is not a few days. Not putting my address in correctly was laziness. Very disappointed.
