DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!
I went in on Oct 1st to see if this repair shop had a Pixel 2 XL screen in stock or if he could order me one for a cheaper price than I was finding them online. He told me he didn't have one but could order one for about the same price I had found them online and also said that a battery replacement on a two year old phone was a good idea, and I agreed so I purchased that too. I figured I would try to support a local business and buy it from him and do the repair myself. BIG MISTAKE.
He originally told me that the screen and battery would be in the following week and told ME to call HIM to see if it came in. This guy is NOT that busy to not be able to call a customer to let them know their parts came in. I called him the next week and the parts weren't there yet. These are all the excuses I had got from him in the following weeks.
-The parts are on back order. -The parts were lost by the delivery service. -The parts were in his car and his car wasn't there.
I had to constantly follow up to see where my parts were by calling or even going to his shop to ask him (which he is rarely there during his business hours because he is usually in his apartment across the street). Finally on Nov 1st, a whole month waiting for the parts, I called him to see where the parts were and he said the battery wasn't in yet. I asked him about picking up the screen and he said he wasn't there at his shop (he was across the street at his apartment) and that he was "going on a trip to Florida and wouldn't be back until the following Wednesday"!(I had seen him multiple times between that Sat-Wed he was "supposed to be in Florida") I had enough at this point after a WHOLE MONTH of waiting and told him I wanted the screen right there and then. He then proceeded to get angry and tell me that he would just refund the money. I mentioned about buying just the screen and he said he was going to refund the whole order(which he didn't do after I gave him my information to refund and waited an entire WEEK to give me my money back. I finally had to dispute the charge with my credit card company!) What I think-HE NEVER EVEN BOTHERED ORDERING THE PARTS.
I'm just lucky I had my old phone or I would've been without one for a month! I ordered the parts I needed online and received them within a week. If you need a repair done, there are plenty of videos online that can walk through most repairs and most parts are readily available online. Attempt the repair yourself before ever taking it to this place!

Read moreWas not sure if I wanted to write this, but I need to. This happened a bit over a year ago, so take it as you wish.
My laptop battery was swollen and needed to be replaced since it would not hold any more charge. I was desperate, saw the good reviews, and went here. Started out fine, he opened up the back plate, and took the battery out. Then he proceeded to CUT IT OPEN and remarked about how unique the smell of the fumes is. The battery itself says to NEVER puncture it. He then put the punctured battery BACK INTO my laptop and offered to get me a new one and said I need to get a new charger with it. I agreed, he asked for payment there, I didn't think anything of it and agreed to that as well.
I noticed that when I used my laptop (which still didn't hold charge) sometimes it would start to smell like those fumes again. It would get so bad at times it made me dizzy and I had to stop using it. I realized much later that because the battery would heat up when the computer was working, and also heating up, it would cause the battery to emit fumes.
A month goes by. I call him about my battery. I get a "it's coming soon don't worry". Laptop is still emitting fumes. Another month. Another non-answer, vague "blame the supply chain, getting official parts is difficult, blah blah". End of semester comes around. I have to drive home out of state.
I go in the last day I'll ever be in Slip. Battery still isn't there, but conveniently my "new charger" is! He never notified me once. I demand a refund, I get a "ok I'll do it after I help these people, you can leave". I refuse. After 4 MONTHS of waiting and vague dodgy behavior, I refuse to take his word on giving me back my $250 without seeing it go into my bank account.
I got my refund but I was also exposed to toxic battery fumes for 4 months, had my laptop TURNED INTO A BOMB, and almost scammed out of $250. Turns out my laptop could run fine without a battery as long as it was on the charger. Take your...

My girlfriend broke the screen on her cellphone. Normally I would do the repair myself, however we are currently long distance so I looked up local shops where she could just go ahead and pay to have it fixed. I found this place and suggested she take it there to get it fixed.
She’s not very techy, and the owner of this place took full advantage. He charged her more than the cost to buy a replacement phone of the same model. But I would have been ok if he just overcharged and did a quality job with the repair. However this was not the case.
He didn’t replace her screen; he replaced the glass with a cheap ebay clone that didn’t even have cut outs for the light ambient light sensor. The glass was so thick that the home button was sunken instead of raised. The uv glue was poorly applied with air gaps. It also took the repair guy over a month to return the phone.
Shortly after my girlfriend received her phone the screen completely died. When I finally saw the condition of her phone I felt responsible for this situation and promised to go with her back to the shop to try to make it better.
When I took the phone back to the store, I explained the problems with the repair and I asked him to either repair or refund my girlfriend. He became agitated and asked me to leave the store. So I left. My girlfriend stayed inside and he agreed to repair it again. One week later, he calls her and tells her she need to pay for him to repair his own terrible work. We decided to just cut our losses here and tell our story.
